The Mile High Coop is choosing violence in 2022
Seeing how this is avian themed, can we change roost captain to roost head pecker.
@Preston is salivating at the opportunity to take his state title to the national level.
I was literally about to reply with exactly this, but as a good message boarder I decided to scroll to see if anyone beat me to it. The fact that it was the Big Guy makes me happy.
Are you sure this isn’t more like the BCS?
Listen, if they need someone to build a proprietary model in excel to calculate the Official Refuge Golf Rankings (ORGR), I’m their guy.
Would love to see how this works for northern vs southern states. The southerners have year(ish) round play while we are generally on pause through winter months up here.
I just found out we can play virtual matches, Macho Man. You’re dead.
I have no idea how that works, but I’m here for it. I better go buy some Venmo stock.
I have ideas.
ugh, if you really care about winning you’ll move

If you decide to run the team without borders I will gladly pick up my scwaldo tools and follow
For those of us in areas that may not be as populated (for instance Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, and Alabama) based on the heat map I am assuming based on the letter you all would help in geofencing to make the Roost best for all who are interested. Along the same lines if there was a Roost such as LMAA (states above) have you all thought of having possibly a captain and co-captains where there is a larger geographic region?
Secondly, taking a look at the application if someone is interested in joining/starting a Roost should that person collect names of those who are interested and then submit?
Pitter patter let’s get at her
In year one, if there are a few groups that are interested in the LMAA region for example, we will help to turn that in to one or two roosts year one. In year two, those lines might change as the roosts get bigger and more people get involved. I think co-captains would need to be decided within the group. Having one designated captain gives us someone to work with directly. This first year, having a bunch of cooks in the kitchen as official co-captains likely isn’t what we are hoping for. Again, if that decision is made within your roost, great.
Gather your crew. If you hit the requirements, send in an application at that point.
This is the answer
We’d like there to be one captain per roost, but are encouraging of having co-captains to help out. For example the Carolinas is one group, so some members are 6 hours away from each other
I’d definitely look at finding out who is interested in your area before submitting. If we see opportunities to put people together to form their roost based on the applications, we will reach out to those parties.
Great. Thanks for both responses. That answers my questions.
