Going to attempt to bag my 3rd course this afternoon. A lovely little muni called Hodge Park in KC.
I’ve never used Grint before but going to try it out for this round in case anyone is bored on their Friday afternoon and wants to follow along, I’m KC_Badger there as well.

Achievement unlocked. 72 from the blues (tips). Had it going on the front after an opening bogey, get it back to -2 thru 8 before I lost the plot. Ugly 3-putt on 9 and then a double on 10 sunk my chances for a sub-70 Thoobs stunner round but happy with the result.

Also, got paired up with an (unknowing) Bladey Eighty Sherpa, my man David. David is ~60 and rolled up in pants (it was 86 in KC), brown wingtips, and a set of 2-PW Mizuno MP-14s. We. Like. That. I asked him about the blades (of course) and he proceeded to evangelize about how they make him swing within himself and how he feels more connected to the game with them, recently he had felt that his cavity backs were making the game uninteresting. Holy shit, he’s in the cult club and doesn’t even know it. His whole vibe was aspirational. He peeled off after 9 (probably why my game was shook) so I didn’t get to fully explain the YOTB but I’m sure he would have dug it.
