I got a Haywood Driving Iron last year to dip my toes into the DI pool… As a flusher of long irons in general, surprise surprise I love the DI. HOWEVA, the Haywood is extremely off-putting to my eye with it’s offset.
Does anyone have recs of DI’s to check out that would look more like players irons? The rest of my irons are a Mizzy 223/221 combo set
I’ll have to check the model but I have a pxg 2 driving iron thats more refined than most irons in general. I can’t keep up with the names and generations at all. I really like it though. Easy to play
Mizuno FliHi has been my favorite to look at personally. I highly recommend taking a look at one of them or Titleist. I’ve tried Mizuno, Srixon, and New Level on the driving iron front and the Mizuno is the most “iron” looking of the bunch.
It’s this one. Although I think I bought mine new from pxg for less than what 2nd swing has them
Priced at but then again that’s how 2nd swing prices everything.
Got fit for clubs for the first time and the T350s were a great match. Blades are aspirational, but as a 16 and new to the game keeping the ball in play for bogey golf is what I’m working on
Signed up for an iron fitting on the 29th. I found a range 30 minutes away that is also a top 100 fitter and they will give you mini buckets of like 15 balls for free to demo clubs on either grass or turf. Excited to try out T150/200’s, the mizuno offerings, and the srixons before I get fit.
