Apparently I’m the savage for not remembering something that was posted previously on a thread with over a year of posts.
Anyone have suggestions for my new WHOOP not autodetecting activity? I have that set on but I have been having to manually add it in. Perhaps I’m not waiting until my heart rate has decreased enough so it thinks I’m still exercising?
It sometimes takes a long time to update. Same with naps. Give it a couple hours even.
I think you have to have 15 min of elevated heart rate
That part isn’t the problem, but perhaps I’m not waiting long enough for my heart rate to go down before expecting the band to recognize it. I jumped off the bike and was wondering why it hadn’t updated yet.
Naps? Who do you think I am, @Randy on the Sunday of a golf tournament?
Oh yea that sometimes takes 30 min to 90 minutes for me. I think, it’s waiting for your heart rate to drop and maintain at resting for a bit.
For reference, I will run (letting it auto start) come home, drink some water, shower, and then sit in the couch and it the notifies me about my activity.
Turn on your strain coach and run it while on the bike. Then end the workout when you get off.
For the folks that are on the $30 a month plan, it says online it’s for a minimum of 6 months, do you get the 15% discount for all 6 months? Just one? Even beyond 6 months?
I think I’ll need to do this because now it’s almost three hours after my ride this morning, and my heart rate was clearly elevated for longer than 15 minutes and has long since recovered and I got nothing from the band. Had to manually add it in yet again…
When I did it I paid for a year, and the 15% was applied to the total cost. So all 12 months were 15% off.
Definitely noticing differences with recovery and strain now that the temps have dropped for scorching with full humidity. Same activities are a full point or more less.
My recovery has actually changed significantly since the night has been cooler and most of the smoke has dissipated from my area.
Just made my Whoop purchase. Can’t wait for it to get here.
Does the NLU promo apply to bands and extension cards if you already have a Whoop or is it limited to new customers?
New customers
Ordered my band today. Also ordered a second strap as well. Saw that some people before talked about getting the strap undone at first was a hassle. Anybody have tips for this or is there a specific way that it has to be done so that it’s easier?
Picked this one up just this week too. Like that I could mix it up with the Black clippy thing too for a bit more variety.
Mostly excited to have a dry strap to put on as a 24/7 wearer after workouts and showers.
It’s just that it’s you have to pull it apart a lot harder than you think you should, feels like you’re gonna break it.
