Whoop Band | NLU Group Code: COMM-NLUNLU

Yeah i have to do similar stuff when I lift. It’s a double edged sword where I have good cardio so just lifting allows my HR to fall/recover quickly. So i need to spice it up.

Highly recommend it.

I’ve added some jumps and medball throws to elevate mine during lifts, always seems to do the trick.
Might have to add in some burpees or other activities

Anyone else get weird activities showing up as “activities” on Whoop? This is from practicing piano, something that often registers on my whoop

Only really funky thing I’ve seen is bouncing my kid to sleep. But Apple Watch also picks it up so

Whoop gets me playing guitar. Thinks I’m riding a bike.

The one that has gotten me in the past is if I’m chopping vegetables/fruit for a continuous period it can pick it up.

What about karaoke?

I saw 200+ bpm reported when my Whoop was off my arm on the charger.

Thanks been a known bug/feature on the 4.0…

At first I saw the crazy heart rate numbers and was like “Am I dead? Is any of this real?” Then I remembered that it was on the charger :joy:

Yeah everyone has commented something similar. That should be a software fix … hopefully soon.

Yes…I get it from petting my dogs while I watch TV…like giving them a scratch petting.

That, high strain numbers hitting balls at the range, and the fact I have had 18 months so I’ve seen what is helpful and what hurts my recovery, have me thinking I’m not renewing my membership when it’s up in early January.

The hitting balls thing can be remedied with a bicep band. Can reach out to support. Hurt they’ve given them out for free in the past.

Could a loose fit cause it to vibrate more during minor activities exaggerating the effort it detects?

This is what I’ve seen a lot of people say as far as exaggerated strain. I wear my pretty tight, maybe too tight, but I never get any “fake strain”

Same my strain is pretty accurate and most times is under what my Apple Watch sees.
