If I waited til green I may never wake up.

Being an old man early riser prevented any fun with this. In the green but woke up naturally.

I think the alarm will only wake you up an hour before your latest wake time at the earliest

.

it randomly started catching data around an hour before my post but it didnt show until this morning. it registered my sleep so looks like it is back and working
hope it doesnt happen again, worse thing is it gives me no notification it isnt working i just gotta be checking it every so often

It went off at 7:00 because I wasn’t green after 4+ drinks. Snoozed it because my wife is a saint. Got out of bed at 10am to green recovery. LFG

Decided to get my life together and buy a whoop to help me with this. 11+ is a bit longer than I’d like to wait. It seems that they no longer offer the older versions, only the 4.0. Is that the case, or am I missing something?

Most people with a 4 or getting a 4.0 can “up-cycle” their 3.0. Meaning they clean it, give you the new strap. You get 2 free months and they get 1.

May be worth asking around

If anyone has some extra straps for the whoop 3.0, I am looking to get another one or two since I’ve managed to lose my spare and am not currently looking at upgrading to the 4.0.

I got one I can send you. Should just be a stamp so DM me your address.

Anyone else with 4.0 experiencing server issues? Mine didn’t connect starting yesterday at 10am and wouldn’t connect until I reset. It also didn’t capture any data while it was disconnected to the server which I never had happen with 3.0. Now it disconnected again 2 hours ago and won’t refresh.

I haven’t had any issues

Same boat. My band is connected to my phone (per the Home Screen of the app) but it isn’t updating to the whoop server/cloud. Going on about 10 hours with no updates.

Reboot your strap and it should fix. It won’t have the missing data, but it should reconnect everything back.

My fiancée just found out that the new 4.0 has an alarm function and is offering to pay for it if I upgrade since I get up an hour earlier than her for work. With that being said, Any feedback on the alarm function at this point?

I’ve found it to work quite well. It is initially tricky to set up and if you have different wake up times for different days it probably wouldn’t work. But for consistent wake up times it’s perfect

I only wish it would recognize that your heart rate is consistently elevated and you’re awake, and disable the alarm at that point. If I’m sub-green recovery, but wake up anyway on my own, it’s kinda funny to feel the thing start buzzing out of nowhere as I’m drinking a cup of coffee.

Agreed with all the above. I’m an early riser so usually don’t need an alarm but it’s nice to have a failsafe. It’s allowed me to get rid of my alarm clock.

Thanks for the advice everyone, so it’s not something you can easily adjust for different days of the week? I typically get up 3-4 hours earlier for work than I would on a weekend, so that could be a pain.

Correct. For example you set the alarm for 7:00 and it will go off at 7 until you tell it not to but you can’t say only do certain days or just weekday. Surely they will update it.

Gotcha. Yeah, that seems like it would be a relatively easy update that would be much more convenient.

Is the promo code on the thread title dead now?
