Whoop Band | NLU Group Code: COMM-NLUNLU

I will say this: I noticed very early on that there was an issue with this, reached out to support (back when they were actually helpful) and they provided a “fix” that was at least workable, if not the most comfortable You’ve got to keep the Whoop borderline too tight on your wrist, but when done, it does reduce the phantom strain issue. There’s clearly an issue, but I feel like a lot of these complaints are from people wearing the Whoop too loosely, though it’s certainly not everyone.

Also got mine today. 0% battery, but still was able to pair right after unboxing.

Charge pack feels like a tighter squeeze than the 3.0.

Excited to see the new metrics after a week of calibration.

I received my 4.0 today, unwrapped with 80% charge. I have fully charged the battery pack (shows green light), but when I slide it onto the 4.0 it doesn’t charge at all. I’ve tried sliding both ways, tapping, and can’t get it to work. Has anyone else experienced this and found a solution?

Try plugging the pack into the wall, then sliding it on, then tapping the charging pack.

And that tapping needs to be VERY forceful, at least from my experience.

Is the wait for Whoop worth 16 weeks? I’m on week 9 and my status still has a 5-7 week shipping time. I’m getting very close to canceling and buying an Apple Watch. I’ve stayed away from the Apple Watch because I have a nice watch that I wear but damn this is ridiculous

You’re comparing two different products (as someone who wears both). Just saying. I’ve discussed it a few times before.

Totally agree. If you’re gonna cancel your whoop order to instead buy an Apple Watch, you may as well cancel and buy a putter. I would recommend waiting the 5-7. Wearing a whoop has changed the way I eat, drink, train, recover, sleep… it has legitimately changed my life and increased my understanding of how my body actually works and what’s good and bad for me personally.

My 4.0 also came yesterday and I needed to charge the battery pack and then pop it on the whoop (slides on from the non-metal latch side with the W facing away from the latch too) for my phone to recognise it.

The strap is HEAPS more comfy and the smaller unit definitely sits better on the wrist.

I had a rare range session this week and when you’re hitting a lot of balls there’s definitely some fake highs, but I’ve never had that for an actual round of golf. I generally get somewhere between high-9s and low-12s carrying my clubs for 18 holes depending on course, heat and round duration.

Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately, still not working. I’ve sent an email to Support, to see if they can offer assistance, but in the meantime I’m going back to the 3.0 until I can get the charging to work on 4.0.

Setting up the alarm based on green recovery as a start. Excited to toy around with this feature on the 4.0.

Careful. It’s a dangerous game. I tell mine take me up to later than 7 or if I’m in the green. One time it was like 530 like DAWG YOURE GOOD LETS GOOO

For that reason sharks, I’m out.

In my mind I am debating an experiment doing exactly this where I get up and start my day regardless of time and see how it goes, how I feel, what I get done, and so on.

Not sure I have the discipline for it though.

Honestly now I’m gonna set mine for green tomorrow just to see what happens.

This is the lone reason I haven’t tried this yet. I’m way too afraid I’d be awake on a Saturday way earlier than I’d like.

It open happened once. I dismissed it and went right back to sleep. So wasn’t a big deal.

I like the haptic alarm, but I wish the alarm time settings were more customizable. I wake up early MWF to workout and want to sleep in a little on weekends. I’d like to not have to change it everyday.

24 hours since new 4.0 arrived… it stopped transmitting to my phone about 5 hours ago, coincidentally when i got my booster shot (5G signals jamming the bluetooth? who could say!) wouldnt update for a couple hours now it says its all caught up to the current time but there is no data whatsoever from the initial time it stopped to now. no updated strain, completely missed my workout. the web-based portal also has all of my data missing and is not updating anything even though all the connections are saying im good. anybody have this issue? have checked firmware upgrades, unpaired-repaired, rebooted device

Happened to me the other day. I messaged customer services and they said it’s a bug where the device is “off body” and doesn’t capture any data.

Rebooted my device and haven’t had any issues since.

I’ve been rebooting my 4.0 after every firmware update just to be safe. I wasn’t at first and had some massive battery drain.

Been good since
