When I got my Whoop (last month) I was unboxing and saw some instructions re threading the band and I recall thinking “I don’t need to read all that - I’m not a fucking moron”…
It turns out I am, in fact, a fucking moron. But I take some solace that so are so many other people here!
@Scrspur is the April Whoop Strain champ. Wasn’t much of a competition from the jump. Get on in here and claim your prize. Shoot me a DM and we will get you sorted.
What should we do this month? Recovery competition? Love the idea of people getting in their own heads about their sleep/lack there of.
Does anyone have experience with how tight the bicep strap should be in relation to the wrist strap? I’ve had the bicep band for a bit but can’t seem to find the same comfort level I had with the wrist strap, at least as it relates to tightness. (I had the wrist strap “properly” tight after reaching out to Whoop member services after an odd reading.) Also super frustrating that every single one of Whoop’s fit videos is wrist strap-exclusive and the member support folks don’t have great guidance on how the bicep strap should be worn.
I would be all-in keen on that one except for the fact I had my first ever 2% recovery Sunday morning after a long-awaited catch-up with a mate on May 1st…
This was an interesting spot in the Man Utd - Leicester match yesterday, Axel Tuanzebe wearing a Whoop band while playing. Safe to assume every player in the PL is wearing a GPS monitor vest under their shirt, and most wrist wear has to be removed or taped so I’m curious to see if this happens again.
