I’ve had it happen and a full restart seemed to fix it for me. Firmware like @oliveloaf said could be it too.
yeah I’ve tried both and no luck…Ill contact there support team to see what they say. It still works fine other than that
Getting my ass absolutely handed to me averaging a 12.6 daily strain. You all are sick fucks!
reaches back into the Nacho Cheese Doritos bag
True altheltic specimens up in here.
Admittedly I am new to this, but it thought for sure something around 13 average would be competitive.
I am still holding out that some of the folks caning themselves will need a rest day or two and I can catch up.
Maybe a sub-category for those with small children?!
The golf fluffers out in force.
I did a hour of boxing and sparring and was only at 16 strain.
People golfing and getting 18 is wild to me.
It’s all on the wrist
I am also shocked that WHOOP even registers people burning 4000-5000 calories when the activity is Golfing.
First day at bandon done. After a beautiful 36 hole day, all time high strain of 20.5.
9% recovery.
Life is good.
100% fluffer 20.5. Sorry to break the news to you.
I golf with mine on my wrist and if I don’t walk it doesn’t even register.
And if I walk maybe 12 strain. If it’s baking outside.
When I walk 18 at my club, which is not super flat but not hilly, with the band on my bicep I register about 5 if I am using my push cart, about 7 if I carry, and it increases a couple if it’s hot out.
I’ve never ridden in a cart with the whoop on since I got it last July.
This doesn’t make sense. The EF Pro Cycling guys register 20.7 days during the Tour de France. How does a 36 hole day equate to 20.5?
Because the whoop is on his wrist, probably incorrectly, and it’s bouncing around as he plays and walks and whoop mistakenly registers it as a fast heart rate.
Because it isn’t real. Unless you’re wearing a bicep band, unfortunately, golf doesn’t register correctly.
I walk and carry my clubs and here’s what I’m at on average so far this month with a wrist strap.
Doesn’t seem out of line to me personally.
That looks right.
Some people are pushing 17-20 strain golfing…
12.7 strain for golf seems high.
Golfing isn’t a strenuous activity. It is only going to be slightly higher then a walk, which isn’t putting much strain on your heart.
Now everyone is different and going to have different strain levels for the same activity. But I can’t ever break 8 when I golf and walk. Carrying bag and I move quickly, finishing in under 3 hours.
When I run 2-3 miles at a 6mph pace, I get 11-14 typically.
Lugging a bag up and down hills while stressing about the game for 3.5 hours seems a bit more intense than a walk.
I also can sweat in a meat locker so YMMV.
