I’m close. When I was in my late 20s i had to wear a heart monitor for 72 hours cuz a doctor was worried about my heart because when i went for a checkup it was beating slowly. It would beat in the 20s at night, and nowadays i still see it regularly around 30-32 at night.

Today’s strain is higher than last nights recovery. Tomorrow should be interesting

If this thing works tomorrow i better be in the red. FTP test this morning followed by an all day sugar fest. Seriously haven’t eaten candy like this in years. It’s like i was competing with a 4 and 7 year old in a candy eating competition today.

Will update in 10 hours.

Recovery went from 66 to 69 today.

Recovery really does seem random.

Yeah it throws me off at times.

Went out for a very large dinner last night. Wine. Steak. Pasta. Went to bed late. Was expecting a horrible recovery…79%

It’s weird because I rarely ever have any head scratching recoveries. I woke up in the red today and looking back at yesterday, I didn’t set myself up for a good recovery. Time to drink a ton of water and get to bed early tonight.

Is there a NLU promo code to use at Whoop’s checkout? Want to make sure the guys get the attribution.

“Nolayingup” is good for 12 or 18 month plans.

Or you can do month to month with a free month from a promo code from someone

Same. My recovery is always where I’d generally expect it to be

The only thing that really hurts my recovery is alcohol.

Built a 15.2 strain yesterday (27 holes, 18 walking) on a 33% recovery (6:39 sleep that night prior), got 6:24 sleep today and woke up to 20%. I feel great.

The week after my second COVID vaccine, I was in the mid greens for the whole week. Slept the same, played about the same amount of golf, etc. Literally almost nothing different.

WRNG. (For Recovery Values)

Yesterday I ate a fairly heavy lunch, went on a bike ride, late dinner, didn’t hydrate properly, on my phone before bed. I was expecting to be in the red and sure enough, 27% recovery.

Same. Mine seems to pattern more how I’d expect than not. Rarely any head scratching from me. Late eating is bad for me. Alcohol okay in moderation.

Days where I go wild over the top strain wise usually are low yellow or red. Today was very green after a day of light strain after 2 days of going hard. Makes sense to bounce back then.

Agreed. Eating late, not enough water, and too much screen time is a bad combo for me.

I think I said this earlier, but there are also outside factors to look at when asking why your recovery was good/bad like stress, anxiety, seasons, etc. So many other variables when it comes to recovery than what yesterday’s strain number was.

Yeah my recoveries are usually where I expect. Sometimes I’ll have green that not sure where that came from. But when I start working out I can tell I feel great.

I key is to be solid with the journal.

Use the notes too. Not a specific category. Write something in there that happened. “Ate a heavy dinner early but over ate. Ate late. Etc”

It’s nice to look back and read

anyone having trouble with the charging of there whoop? mine will only charge to 88% even with the charger full, then the charge is only lasting just over a day

That definitely sounds like a problem. I’d contact support.

had this issue a while back, make sure the straps firmware is up to date.
Updating was the fix for me.
