Where did you play this week? (Part 2)

Played in the Palmetto Golf Society event today at a little hole in the wall course near Aiken. It was pretty good though

Love hearing this. Heading up there at the end of the month. Playing Pilgrim’s on Friday afternoon, the Mines early Saturday and then Diamond Springs on Saturday afternoon. Prettay, prettay excited.

That’s gonna be so awesome. I’ve only played the mines once and that’s another spot I’d really like to get back to. Enjoy it!

Stonewall in Elverson, PA.

Extremely good pair of Doak-designed golf courses and it gets everything right from merch, on site lodging, food and beverage, and practice facilities.

North

Stonewall Old

Shout out to my travel partner @TB3Golf.

Which course did you like better? I played the Old Course but not the North. Hopefully can get out there this year.

I need better travel partners :joy::joy:

Two very very different courses. Old is a true championship style course. The north is very fun and quirky but very much the little brother

To echo @TB3Golf, the North is fun and quirky. Definitely a lot easier and gettable compared to the Old, especially with the fescue down.

Twin brother trip at Forest DunesArrived mid Wednesday where they had an unexpected tornado(!!) hit #4/#12 but the crews made it looked like nothing ever happened by later in the day. The Loop (Red course) was a treat to play, and even after the rains they have had, was still firm and fast. Looking forward to playing the Black routing and the Bootlegger tomorrow.

Played Landmand last week and Jiminy Crickets is it something. Need to change the name to “It’s Fucking Land, Man!”

It’s great and I don’t recommend walking it, especially twice.

I am on a bit of a heater the last week or so.

Thursday - Barefoot Norman Course (meh)
Friday - Barefoot Dye Course (better)
Saturday - Tidewater (best of those three)
Tuesday - Tree Farm (favorite of the week)
Thursday - Country Club of Charleston (very solid Raynor, but I prefer Yeamans Hall)
