I don’t understand anything about the way you live. Your way of playing golf, your modes of transportation, your clubs, and even your socks make no sense to me.

This is why we would be the best of friends.
Crossed a bucket list course off the list today by getting to take a stroll around Lahinch. My caddy Ollie grinded with me in the fescue in the front before we finally got things rolling on the back. I might have shot a billion, but still had the time of my life. The front 9 are probably the coolest 9 holes I’ve ever played!
Awesome. I think Lahinch is probably #2 on my personal bucket list, after St. Andrews. Some day.
I cannot recommend it enough! I literally never thought I would have had fun making a 10 on a par 5 and a 9 on a par 4 (for the love of god do not put the ball in the hole in the fairway on 6), but I somehow did. My caddy 1000% helped and we chose the laugh option of laughing or crying at my game. The biggest compliment was that he admitted I finally played like a 10 handicap on the back 9. Lol
Rounded out my western Pennsylvania golf week at Totteridge. Really nice track, great condition and another great value (under $60) by South FL standards. I preferred the overall feel of Birdsfoot, but that was more personal preference. Overall, the golf, people and summer weather up here is hard to beat.

Prairie Dunes is on a short-list of courses I’d do some questionable things to play, photos like this make it look so so good

Had a pretty good week of golf…
Finally got out to Wild Horse GC in Gothenburg, NE for a few days of golf and general shenanigans with refugees old and new. The place is incredible, and our Monday 36 may have featured the best combo of course & weather conditions I have ever experienced. Super firm & fast greens (and fairways) coupled with a decent breeze created a cerebral test of golf that really got me fired up. It was the exact opposite of point and shoot and it was an absolute blast playing 30 yards short of greens to get the ball to roll up hole high. The golf was great, the hang was even better.
On our last evening a thunderstorm blew through and gave us a true mega light situation
After that I pointed the car south and headed to my happy place for a couple days at Prairie Dunes. It continues to cement itself at the top of my list, everything you could ask for in a golf experience.
Played Mill Valley Golf Course, which is a little 100 year old, city owned, 9 holer a couple towns over from me. Always worth the $24, especially when it’s baked out, sunny, and 75. Peep Mt Tam in the third pic, the pride of Marin County.
The Pasa bag is a SICK flex.
