Did he share his putter on Sedge #8? I don’t care if he did, I’m sharing it again. Watching him go putter-putter-putter from 180 yards to make a par was fucking awesome.
Yes. It didn’t rain for like a month up until last weekend. Haha, it did rain 10 inches in 3 days in April though
I heard the story, but hadn’t seen it with my own eyes so thanks for sharing!! I bet the caddie had to be wondering wtf he was about to witness hahaha
I watched him do this off pine straw in South Carolina multiple times, dude is an animal!!

That’s pretty wild. Good for you guys, must have been a phenomenal day out there.
Edit: need to see @sundaybag ’s scorecard. How low can the best golfer at NLU actually go at Cypress?
Well, he was running around filming and playing. So it wasn’t fair at all for him. But I think he was around 75 or so. I was many shots higher.

This is genuinely exciting news
Shot a 75 while filming arguably the best golf course in the world on his first visit? @Soly better award Strokes Gained: Camera
Between @MerchCzar and @Randy 's recent golfing jaunts, Stapped Nation may be officially dead…like The Kid and Rory,
Tell me you didn’t watch the masters this year without telling me you didn’t watch the masters this year
Oh I lived and died every moment of Rory’s Sunday. Just a chance to dig the Big Guy over his years of Rory is Dead take.
Was the course wet as shit after an inch of rain? Was it cart path only on a course they don’t let you walk? Would there be a big yellow sticker on the card for lift clean place? The answer would be yes to all of the above. That said, we did some napkin math and a conservative estimate would be that I’ve played the Ross course 130 times in my life. Today was the first day going sub 80. Hell of a way to end the trip.
LETS GOOOOOO! I’m so glad to see that someone learned from my Icarito and was able to get it done!
Post Ope needed to pick up our dog from my parents and got a chance to play Wild Ridge in Eau Claire, WI. I hadn’t played it since high school and was pleasantly reminded of the use of land movement. I am hoping that it can make it into the Mad Scramble Tour rota next year, would be a cool spot for me, @treeputttim and 98 other dudes to walk up and down the hills.
All are welcome, but Erik would be lucky to have you.
Sitting in the Denver airport after a hell of a golf weekend in Michigan doing the DeVries trio with my hitters @Nacho @GRGolfer
The Mines on Friday for 18. Firm and fast with a great new patio and restaurant hang afterwards.
Saturday was 36 holes at a diamond springs. This place will always hold a spot in my golfing heart where the addiction to golf and interest in architecture really took over.
Pilgrims Run for our final round today and the scale of this place is awesome. Big features and contours everywhere with great conditions and lots of variety.
I want to some day do this exact trip.
It’s a great one that won’t break the bank. Under $300 for 3 great courses and 72 holes.
I got very lucky and happened to chat up a guy at the baggage claim in Grand Rapids who was also grabbing clubs who turned out to be the owner of Pilgrims Run and he comped my round
Finished the trip with the nephew. Bowes Creek in Elgin yesterday, and a 36 hole today at Aurora CC and Preserve at Oak Meadows.
We decided to walk the last round and both golfed our balls this afternoon. Played the back tees from 6700 and the kid fired a personal best 73. Should make his flight home a little more comfortable.
