Fantastic first post - welcome!
First post. 10/10. No notes.
Good old River Plantation! Almost had a heat stroke and passed out myself during a summer tournament in high school.
Fantastic facility and a huge clubhouse, actually helped out with their member guest when I was at Carlton Woods back in day. The staff had music bumping in every office/cart barn/staging area, never had much fun grinding my ass off.

Wow what a place.
They even let Duke fans in!
Was able to sneak out to Pacific Grove while on vacation over Father’s Day weekend. Went off as a single on the back 9 at first light. Only one other single in front of me and nobody behind me. Was an absolute delight.
Took the kids down to some Big Sur area beaches in the afternoon. Ended the day with dinner at the Hay and took my son to the putting course there. We had a blast.
Teed off at Ozarks National at 6:00 PM and played in just over two hours as a single. An introverts dream.
Hey dude, great photos and glad to see you on here!
Played at my local course this morning. First 18 I’ve gotten to play (been doing 9s); leaked oil from 13 to the club house. Pace of play and heat didn’t help either.
You did more damage in the pro shop than that…right?
Need a new ballmark?

Spent Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday chasing the golf ball around in Western Montana.
Started on Tuesday night at King Ranch in Frenchtown, MT. Highlights were an empty course that helped me get around in 2 hours and 11 minutes. Also, a near hole in one on the 166 yard par 3 5th hole.
Wednesday morning I was just east of Missoula at Canyon River. A well conditioned course at the base of Hellgate Canyon. I didn’t play well but it’s a really nice course with some great views.
After lunch and a couple of meetings, I snuck out to the University of Montana course for an evening 9. The U of M course is on their south campus and only 9 holes but I joined up with a group that included a friend of a co-worker (Montana is a very small world for a large place) and some conversation about the Cats and the Griz 2023 prospects.

Thursday morning I was up early and headed to Polson, MT to check out a course I had heard a lot about. $53 to walk was a steal for a course in great shape that is along the southern edge of Flathead Lake. Tying a career high with 4 birdies in the round probably helped shape my opinion too!
My first experience with golf in Western Montana was really positive. There’s a lot of other courses I want to see on that side of the state. Hopefully, I will be back again soon.
Polson Bay was the course that most caught me by surprise last year. Had no expectation that it was going to be anywhere as good as it was.
My god Montana looks beautiful.
Beautiful photos. I’ve only played two courses in Western MT, as we spent most of our time in Glacier NP, but the views are just stunning, any way you turn. Looking forward to seeing more MT golf photos from you.
Twin Warriors GC in Santa Ana Pueblo, NM.
First time playing here and not sure how I feel. Views were nice and decent conditions. Played pretty tough when the wind picked up as anything offline was a lost ball. They had the PGA Professional Championship here a couple months ago - T2 for Blockie. Too bad I don’t have his wedge game.
