Happy February fellow breakfast ballers. We are about 2 short but brutal months away from the 2024 season. With that I am looking to see the interest and recommit interest from the current 12 members. I know there will be some attrition this year so please don’t feel bad if you are no longer interested.
We are going to shorten up the season by one week so that the last week will be the last Thursday before Labor Day. During the summer we can discuss a “fall season” with 1 or 2 groups, but not going to make that decision until July. So in total we will have 22 weeks of play for around $25 per round totaling $550
We will start on 4/4/24 and end on 8/29/24. This schedule will ensure every tee time will be before 6:30am except for the first week which the latest tee time will be 6:45. With out typical place of play the majority of the rounds will be no later than 8:10am hopefully giving everyone time to get back home before work.

Lastly, as people drop from the 12, I will message subs who were most involved last year to see if they would like to be apart of the most exclusive membership in the chicagoland area

So I tore my Achilles around Christmas playing paddle. I should be able to walk 9 by the beginning of the season but I’m not sure when I’ll be able to fully swing a club. I’m in but I’ll probably need subs for several weeks to start.
I think that can be accommodated! Last year we averaged 3.5 subs per week so still lots of interest out there to swing into a spot

Shattering my left ankle into a million pieces was definitely worth it now that I finally can hit a fade after not being able to transfer weight to my left side for an entire golf season
