Tim Riggins?!? Come on, @Sarah…you gotta give me more credit than that!
Clear eyes, full hearts can’t lose.

Damn! I felt like that call hit all your points. I’m bugged by it too. There’s a quality of his voice that really reminds me of someone
I have a question … for all the guys taking a bag to play in the Bonesaw Open, are we right to hold them to a higher moral standard?
Don’t get me wrong, I think it’s scummy that they’ll gladly accept blood money appearance fees, but given what the TD dudes had to say about our own government’s special relationship with the Saudis, not to mention the vast presence of American capital (of which I assume “Cody” was a part, if he’s not actually a spook, no offense), I don’t think I understand the point of blaming like Bryson Dechambeau.
At least during Apartheid, in addition to sports embargos, there were meaningful economic sanctions. Am I way off?
The difference is that the very point of the Bonesaw Open is to whitewash all of the things that makes KSA despicable in the first instance. By taking the bag, the players are willing participants in that process. There is a direct link that is missing in other comparisons.
His voice reminded me of Bradley Cooper (normal voice not A Star Is Born voice). Probably not who you are thinking of, but he did play a douchey, too cool, love interest in a couple movies in the early 'oughts (Wedding Crashers, He’s Just Not That Into You) before blowing up.
Watched this last night based on this thread. Thank you! Really enjoyed it. Part palace intrigue, part spy novel, part love story.
But what is sticking with me the most is the increasingly helpless dread Hatice must have felt on that sidewalk as she waited, hour after hour, for Jamal to emerge from the Consulate. Absolutely heartbreaking.
I got it! It just came back to me: Ashley Zukerman as Nate in Succession I think.
Whew. That feels so much better. My life can once again move forward.
He’s not as Gylenhall-ish as I thought in my mind.
I would not have guessed that but good call!
They mention in the San Diego episode that their friend Cody has just retired from Delta Force. Clearly has been places and done things…
Thought relevant
Heads up @Cody, “females” as a way to describe women has tons of baggage. Especially hearing women fighting for their personal rights referred to as females was tough for this listener. Not a criticism, just a heads up!
