Also, how do @Tron @Randy and the Dads know so many folks that are ex Special Forces? We had Brad the SEAL last week, a Green Beret was mentioned in the episode, and now we have… whatever it is Cody did.
How did you get into that scene?

@Cody, blink once if this photo is based off your life. Blink twice if you can answer that, but you’d have to kill me afterwards.
Yo, he’s just an analyst. He writes reports. Is it coincidence that the USGA just released the distance report? I think not.
Great pod and guest. As a non-American I was sort of listening while looking over my glasses but they made excellent points around the whataboutery and how the regime being directly involved with this tournament makes a difference.
I thought cody was in state department logistics. Ya know supply chain, manifests and receipts, don’t forget about the manifests.
It’s all very boring.
Lots of receipts…
I was so inspired by the fantastic conversation while listening last night, that I decided to crank out a column.
Is it a preview of the upcoming European Tour event for the NLU website?
Perhaps. Takes were unleashed and an editor was needed. We’ll see if it can be made fit for public consumption.
Read the unedited version in wine class!!
I went to ASU and dated a girl on the volleyball team for a short time. I like Cody.
Big Randy being a big Sendek guy is no surprise.
They all say they’re state department employees though. I met a woman once who was a state department employee who knew a lot of information about the detainee program post 9/11…
Initially I didn’t really understand who she was but after an hour of talking to her and listening to what she said (and the manner in which she didn’t say certain things ala Mr. Cody) I became convinced she probably watched people get tortured for a living.
Really educational and interesting pod on The Kingdom and the region. Fascinating stuff.
@Randy was that a LeBatard inspired bit to immediately put the guest on the line and then talk with Tron through the usual intro material for the next 17 minutes?
Only subconsciously lol. They may be seeping into my brain.
Outstanding Trap Draw and another viewing recommendation. Between the podcast, youtube channel, film club and various other Nest suggestions my plate is full.
Great Trap Draw. Ended up watching The Dissident after listening today. Really well done and just a wild world to learn more about. More Mr. Cody content would be excellent.
One of my favorite episodes of the Trap Draw thus far. Cody being able to provide so much in depth and first hand knowledge of the KSA was super interesting. Great stuff, guys.
