The wrong team at that.
For the Panthers, might need to do both Tepper and at least a medium dive on Jerry Richardson, since he was the franchise for most of its existence and the way it ended. Tepper also possibly a bad bad dude (major hedge fund managers by definition are usually at least medium bad dudes) who parlayed his Steelers minority ownership into a seat at the table.
Literally just listed draft picks for 15 minutes!
The glee with which @KVV describes Snyderâs various shitbird activities was
Canât wait for the next one!
This guy gets it!
Loved this Pod. This is how you win Webbyâs or whatever.
Dude, same, and it is some of the most cringey shit ever. Another friend of mine was a cheerleader for the chiefs for years and she has some jarring stories about the Hunts and Brit Mahomes. All of these people are slimeballs.
@KVV talking about reading the chosen came out of nowhere. We read that in school but i figured it was only because my english teacher that year was a very proud Jewish person.
Canât wait for the Green Bay episode.
Infinite amount of DUI/DWIâs
I definitely missed omitting the Hernandez stuff (I kind of forgot about it until after we recorded) but donât think the spygate and deflategate stuff was worth diving into. Those âscandalsâ didnât feel as relevant to Kraft himself. Iâve had some people on twitter slide into my DMâs saying I was too hard on him (didnât mention is charitable impact and his ongoing work against anti-semitism), so I think it balanced out pretty well.
Iâm already prepped for the next episodeâŚ
As a proud owner of one share in the team, I will gladly volunteer to come on for the episode!
They could probably do an episode of just owners on the refuge as I too have one share of stock.
Aside from the Orchids of Asia fiasco, Kraft has historically been pretty quick to do the right thing when scandal rears its head. There are many great books written on the Patsâ 20-year run with Brady and Belichick, but the Jeff Wickersham book that @KVV mentioned is probably the best deep dive into Kraftâs background.
As a huge Pats fan my whole life, who started going to games the year before we drafted Drew Bledsoe, I read this whole book in two sittings. Really great.
The Dan Snyder segment was one of the funniest things Iâve ever listened to. 40 minutes of âbut wait, thereâs more!â What a huckster.
Whatâs really crazy was how much they left on the table, like when he illegally cut down a bunch of trees to improve him view. Straight up cartoon villain stuff.
Missed opportunity to have Gary Player weigh in on this.
As someone that had the Glazers signing my paychecks for a few years happy to provide a few background stories about the habits of the siblings that hang around the team (Bryan, Ed, Joel, Darcie).
more tabloid content
seems like that has become mainstream shit
bummer
P.S. @KVV @MerchCzar PLEASE do more of these. If youâre taking requests for the next round, Iâll throw out Irsay, the Wilf Brothers, and the soon to be worst owner in pro sports once the Snyder sale is official, F. Stanley Kroenke
Guys, for Ford family is the worst. They just so bad that people stopped even thinking about them decades ago.
