Russell probably doesn’t even make that list. Would if it was a draft bust list though.
And neither are even close to the sheer atrociousness of Kim McQuilken, a QB for ATL and WAS in the 70s. He completed less than 40% was picked off on over 10% of his career throws. Once went 5-26 with 5 INTs in a game.
Tough for me to take a top 10 QB list seriously when you exclude Hurts, who was the MVP favorite through 15 weeks before injury, and include Dak, who managed to lead the league in INTs even though he missed a chunk of the season.
Love this list other than Dak. Id rather have Vanilla Vick, Geno, Stafford over him. But the 10 spot really shows how miserable the slate of QBs is in the league
I went with performance from last season and with guys who played a significant amount of time. Malik Willis was godawful but didn’t play enough to qualify for me.
And it’s tough for me to take Hurts seriously when he’s in the best possible situation to succeed of any QB in the NFL. I just don’t see any skills that aren’t, for lack of better term, totally fungible.
I guess it’s tough to see what he brings to the table when you admittedly haven’t actually watched him play. Also, should I not be taking Burrow seriously since he too is in a very favorable situation surrounded by offensive weapons? If the team is built around Hurts’ strengths it’s hard for me to hold that against him, but to each their own. Go birds!
@Tron@Randy if you have Sturm on any time soon you’ll have to ask about their season long picks league on the station. He ended the year tied for last and needed a wildcard round tie breaker to prevent him from having to ride a Greyhound bus from Dallas to the Super Bowl (~23 hour trip) instead of flying.
