I am 100% convinced the pronunciation thing is a bit at this point. Thereās absolutely no chance that they mispronounce words at the rate they do without it being on purpose.
I think this is an inside joke with them. I can easily see them having a Slack channel dedicated to alternate pronunciations that they know will get people going.
Exhibit A: āWalhbergā has only ever been āWall-bergā and literally never been āWhale-berg.ā
