Thank you for your service!
Ball Knowers, minus Poosh, with Neil subbing in may be the best thing to ever happen to that seriesâŚ
You got meâŚIâll listen now.
Neil getting in asses. The first 20 minutes were electric.
I loved the âas a listenerâ add ins.
I enjoyed having Neil to keep the 'knowers honest, but there was a lot of indecipherable crosstalk throughout this episode that made it a tough listen. Sounded like the nooners had been flowing before the red light went on, which gave it a âtalking across the table at a barâ vibe. Thatâs fine when youâre at a bar, but rough sonically in the car or on your headphones.
Agreed - whoever is tasked with holding the knowers accountable needs the power of the mute
Came here to say the same! I fired an email to KVV requesting a mea culpa from the Big Guy, who was the designated referee!
Electric episode. Neil is a certified ball player/knower.
I couldnât help but laugh at the ball knowers (not players) criticizing Hurts by referencing stats and using terms like âarm talentââŚ
âŚonly to then later in the pod criticize proponents of Herbert for pointing to empty calorie stats and using terms like âarm talentâ to prop him up.
Iâm not necessarily a Hurts or Herbert fan, but I would not go as far as to say they could be easily replaced with Goff (?) or Dak (???). I think the commonality between them is that they arenât quite as entertaining as their peers, for different reasons, which is different than to say they arenât as âgood.â Hurts is in a great situation for him, but hard to find a successful QB that was good in spite of their situation and not because of it (off top of head, maybe only Andrew Luck comes to mind in recent memory).
Neil is bringing some accountability to the Ballknowers unchecked take-spewing!
Yea I listen to all my pods at like 1.3x and this was the first one Iâve ever had to dial back below 1x speed.
TCâs Hurts hate âmany people are saying Hurts is a top 5 QBâ bit is played out. For a moment during their last SB run their might have been a few overzealous Iggles fans claiming that but at this point there are no reasonable people he is actually arguing against. No one on the pod was hyping him as a top QB. Most generally agreed that heâs a fringe top 10 guy. Overpaid by a little? Maybe, but itâs not like itâs prevented the Eagles from providing an exceptionally talented 52-man roster around him.
Idk if I like Neil as a full time Knower. He absolutely stunted on his brother for a the duration of the pod and provided actually Knowing, but the real secret sauce of the BKers is that they actually donât know shit.
Itâs the inane takes that have been hardened into deep-seated beliefs that make the BallKnowers the premier hot take merchants of their day. Neil is perhaps too knowledgeable and reasonable to be a good fit.
Iâm sorry but these guys are so out of their depths. Karlaftis wasnât that good at Purdue? They clearly just looked at his stat sheet and saw he didnât have a lot of sacks in college. Dude was a beast in college who made Purdueâs defense go because he was ALWAYS double teamed and often triple teamed cuz he was the only talent on Purdueâs front 7. He only had 4.5 sacks in final season, yet was a first round draft pick. That should tell them something. But theyâre morons.
Love how Neil came in hot and put TC in his place for his absolutely moronic takes.
Would love to see the ball knowers adopt an âAround the Hornâ format with Neil playing the Tony Reali role.
@Tron would stay muted but itâd be great content haha.
I feel like there are a lot of people on this message board that shouldnât listen to the Ball Knowers podcasts.
People get legitimately fired up about football takes made by golf podcasters, who are doing a bit half the time.
If you listen to The Trap Draw and are expecting anything besides buddies discussing/bullshitting about topics they find interesting, then itâs not for you.
Exact appeal on makes the Ballknowers great to listen to⌠except KVV actually knows a bit.
But I do like Neil coming in once a year for the very reason you mentioned.
@MerchCzar - thank you for holding everyone accountable. We need you getting in asses more on these sessions.
This. If youâre tuning into a golf-adjacent show for your NFL news and takes, thatâs on you. There is way too much good NFL content out there for anyone to care about or take seriously what the âballknowersâ have to say.
