I have a TRTL and I think it works pretty well. Provides more support than some of the cheap travel pillows but with less cushion.
TRTL is pretty good. one downside is since it has less cushion than a wrap-around pillow and you are leaning right against it, you canāt wear over ear headphones comfortably while using it. Not sure if that is a deal breaker or not.
The Baltimore boat crew is still on the boat??? 21 employees for 8 weeks now.

This is the best one Iāve found. Also squishes up to fairly small size when not using it

Bad look here for the hitters at Delta @Tron
Not cool at all but if delta hit ETSU with a āwho are youā gif I would giggle.
Definitely one of those instances where Iām slightly leaning against the Club Glove style soft case when it comes to buying a replacement when my hard case wears out. Youād want to believe that baggage handlers are taking care of all bags with some level of concern but thereās bound to be at least something damaged in these golf bags right?
Like we hope that handlers are nice to bags, but I also am not even in the slightest bit surprised to see this happening.
If packed well, I honestly donāt see too much damage happening in this instance. soft case, stiff arm, bungee cord clubs together with some towels, take wood heads off as possible and carry them on.
Iād think/hope that the majority of these travel bags have a good bit of padding on the ābottomā area where theyāre landing them.
With all that said, when my soft travel bag finally is worth replacing, Iām definitely getting a hard sided case.
Jeep people are really becoming a problem. The whole scene is rife with bad actors.
The grumpy grills, the mall crawler lifts, and the ducks were all bad enough, but now we have seriously troubling and dangerous behavior.
They have to be stopped.
Bonus Jeep joke:
Why doesnāt Jeep make computers?
They canāt figure out how to make them leak oil.
The problem is when illiterate and incompetent tsa messes with the way theyāre packed. Also the way these guys were tossing them they werenāt landing in the padded side. I still love my club glove but would have preferred to have not seen this lol
Iām sure Iām going to jinx myself, but by incorporating these steps (stiff arm, wrap towel around irons, and remove driver head) Iāve never had any issues with damage using a soft sided Club Glove bag.
TSA fiddlefucking with stuff is definitely an issue. if they go in and fuck with it, then yeah all bets are off.
The couple that I saw looked like they landed on the side that usually have the likeā¦rails above the wheels.
Now, with that being said I also saw one or two that looked like they landed right on where the clubheads should be and yeah thatās bad news
My biggest hang up with the hard case is that with a soft zipper bag, if TSA doesnāt get it zipped back up all the way, itās still essentially closed.
If a hard case isnāt latched property, itās going to pop open and your shit is going everywhere.
I usually put so many towels in there that the only way to repack is to put it the way I had it. (Plus stiff arm and iron covers for all the padding)
thatās a really interesting point I hadnāt really thought aboutā¦and it feels real concerning hah.
I guess Iām just more glad that I donāt travel with my golf gear all that oftenā¦i would like to more though
I would rather have TSA inspect the bag in front of me. At least I get the chance to repack properly.
āfiddlefuckingā. This.
feels bonk-adjacent but i like it
Making the case for iron covers for travel purposes only
I usually zip tie my irons into small bundles when I fly.
Also a good case for removing driver heads and stowing them in their headcovers in the interior of the bag.
Iāve contemplated the iron covers for travel but still canāt bring myself to buy them
