Trap Draw: Chop Sessions

Another Chop Session probably wont happen for months, but I wanted to get on the radar how high Jerry World is going to raise their field to host the World Cup:

@Tron someone needs to come out with something showing this to scale with the Booger-mobile.

Yeah we were going to need a live post game ball knowers reaction pod had Kyle blown that game. Bummer

Clear hit me with a ā€œnext gen upgradeā€ at 4:25am this morning, all sorts of nonsense. Code to my phone, scan the ID, new picture, blah blah blah. Who is asking for this and how can it possibly be better.

Has anyone been following the fella who’s been running the entire length of Africa for the past 8ish months? Feel like this is a story worth monitoring

@Randy @Tron adding a quick addendum about TC’s comment that LGA needs Manhattan transportation to the subway.

There’s a Q70 bus running every 15 mins outside Delta hub that takes you, for free, to Roosevelt Ave in Queens I think, and from there you can just hop on the #7 to Manhattan.

Took me maybe 30 minutes, tops. I’ve done it 4-5 times now, and gets me on that sweet sweet Cincy-Direct LGA with Delta.

An absolute game changer for anyone that uses Metro North. No longer held hostage by ridiculous HPN and BDL rates.

We did the Q70 to Roosevelt into Manhattan when we were there a little over a year ago and it was pretty crazy how easy it was to navigate. Less than $10 total to get onto the island and doing it with luggage wasn’t even close to an issue.

Yep just takes a little subway common sense. And if all else fails, follow the people with luggage. Every time I’ve done it I’ve seen a few companions

We even had to go all the way downtown to the Financial District so we had to change trains at Times Square which was quite a fun transfer not long after landing and for my wife’s first visit to NYC. But even that wasn’t bad.

Hoping for some input from Randy as a self-
proclaimed aficionado of rebel aesthetics.

What do we think of Los Houthis incorporating the matching custom embroidered ball caps into their kit?

The vest over the suit coat has me zooming in looking for an investment banking logo.

The more and more that I look at that guy, the more I like his look.

America refuses to accept that buses are a viable form of public transportation

(I used this over the summer, and it was pretty seamless)

Would have been tough to triangulate a call between Santa Barbara, Baltimore and Cape Wickham Island, but I would have tried.

I’m sure the congressional hearings over this will be happening any day now

I’m good with buses conceptually. I’m not good with them once I’m on one that is inevitably full of other people.

busses would be way better if they had dedicated lanes, with well timed stops, and no traffic or red lights

so basically, subways.
