If flying in to Newark and going to the city, the NJ transit buses are awful. Airtrain - NJ Transit Train - PATH is the best way to get to Manhattan.

As someone currently sitting in a wall to wall packed seating area of delayed flights at HPN, I truly canât believe anyone considers this a good airport by any measure.

Why is Westchester âHPNâ?
Per Wikipedia:
The IATA code for Westchester County Airport is HPN. The origins of this code are in dispute. Some believe it is derived from the name of the city, White Plains (IATA codes normally do not begin with W because those are reserved for radio signals), while others maintain the IATA code represents the first letter of the airportâs three neighboring communities, Harrison, Purchase, and North Castle.[24] The full ICAO code for Westchester County Airport is KHPN.

it has always bothered me that Newark is EWR and when I read this, it gave me a glimmer of hope that maybe they did something like Elizabeth, Westfield and Rahway but wiki once again corrects me that the reason is
The airport has the IATA airport code EWR, rather than a designation that begins with the letter âNâ because the designator of âNEWâ is already assigned to Lakefront Airport in New Orleans. Also, the Department of the Navy uses three-letter identifiers beginning with N for its purposes.[

Pretty sure this is also the reason that Norfolk International Airport is ORF.
The pigeon was captured by the Mumbai police in May near a port last year where it was found with two rings on its legs and a message that appeared to be written in a Chinese language.
Investigations by local police found that the pigeon was actually an open-water racing bird from Taiwan that had lost its way and accidentally ended up in India.
