Trap Draw: Chop Sessions

I can’t wait to hear about how the 9ers were the third best team to ever lose in the divisional round.

Brock was so unlucky to have defenders standing where he threw it. An NFL field is massive, defenders don’t even occupy 1% of the total space. Shanny had the defense so confused they were in a spot they shouldn’t be.

The sun was in his eyes. Got terrible sleep the night before. The Ravens were more motivated.

I heard Deebo point out that they were only down four points after the terrible first half. Forgot to mention how they lost the second half by two scores

For those interested in the tunnel story mentioned on the pod here is a great writeup:

I don’t watch the nba anymore, but I’d assume the solution to the buzzer beater problem is to not have bonuses in players contracts for shooting percentage and all star selections. I’m struggling to think of another reason guys would be doing that

Just listened to the pod and while I do not know if this needs a mea culpa but do not soak your cardboard.

Yes, it makes it easier to fold and get into the bin, but it makes is less likely to be able to be used in recycling as it can weaken the fibers to the point they are unusable, if the cardboard is sitting around for too long it can get moldy and will not be used again. You are much better off taking the time to cut it down.

@Tron you mentioned HPN (Westchester airport) as a great airport and I need to push back. Not sure the last time you flew through there but they have increased their flights in and out but haven’t made any infrastructure changes. The seating area is constantly overflowing and the parking garage is overflowing with cars parked on the grass on the exit ramp.

As a Westchester resident it’s extremely convenient and very nice when it’s not crowded but those days have become few and far between

(This is the extent of my airport knowledge… thank you for coming to my TED talk)

@Tron @Randy The cicadas are coming, looking at a trillion beginning in April.

"To put that into perspective, one trillion cicadas, each of which are just over an inch long, would cover 15,782,828 miles if they were laid end-to-end.

‘That cicada train would reach to the moon and back 33 times.’"

I thought it would be the Oscar movies one, but maybe that’s a little too early for it?

It’s too early for Oscars. Nom’s aren’t out until Jan 23rd.

Yeah for some reason I thought they did an episode to talk about movies of the last year and then an Oscars pod later, but I went back to look at see I just created that in my head

Trying to guess at what it could be:
True detective S1
Oppenheimer
KOTFM
The Sopranos (25th anny)
Yellowstone?

Holy shit TD season 1 is the best television that has ever been created

I don’t think TD season 1 is bad, but I think it’s pretty overrated. Mainly because I think a lot of the writing is faux-intellectual nonsense and the ending sucked
