They’ll refund it to you.
This is one of the few times it’s worth it to call and get a human being. With the explanation, they should take care of you and refund the grade cost.
United Twitter is actually good about helping solve issues.
This feels like a prank to see if I’ll actually tweet at them.
It’s not. I didn’t like talking to people and it’s easier to get things done. Usually takes an hour before they move it to dm.
You should get refunded if you fly in different class than what you paid for. Even on a different flight than originally scheduled
Of course it’s Frontier
At CLT, how much time would you allow to pick up your golf clubs and rental car to get on road from the time you hit the gate?
Are there any rental car providers that are better located/quicker or are Hertz and National going to be about the same?
The good part about CLT: all of the rental car companies are located within short walking distance of the terminal and you don’t have to take a shuttle.
The bad part about CLT: they are doing massive renovations right now, which includes the baggage claim area. In particular, if you are not flying AA, baggage claim is a mess. Took me over an hour to get my golf bag off a Jetblue flight at CLT a couple of months ago because they had every non-AA airline coming off of one loop. Very tough scene.
IMO the move is to get your bags, then go to your rental car because taking the rental car out of the garage and trying to bring it around to where the passenger pickup is located is just asking for you to get stuck in massive traffic. Just get in the car and get out of the airport after getting your bags. Can’t give you a specific time, but budget more time than you think.
Thanks. Will come in on AA and should have priority bag tag, so hopefully that part is a slightly better experience.
If there is anyone that can help, I have the exact same question about MKE.
Haven’t been there in a little bit, but much smaller airport with what I remember to be a very easy experience. I’m sure there is someone else more suited to answer though
Milwaukee Rental Car is a 1 minute walk from the terminal and very fast - especially if you can bypass counters. Once you have your have bag you should be on the road in 15 minutes.
Yep.
Thanks for the info!
Took golf clubs into CLT a couple weeks ago. Give it at least an hour to get the bags and the rental car.
After the disaster of the Delta/Cloudstrike meltdown, strongly recommend either Hertz or National for MKE as they both allow you to bypass the counter. Budget/Avis was a horror movie.
How the hell does this happen
The video is shocking, I don’t know how an ATR goes into a flat stall like that
Nightmare that’s so sad
