@tigersfirehydrant There are a lot of good courses right around Sunset Beach. Oyster Bay, The Thistle, and the Pearl are probably the top three with the Big Cats being about equal, but just a little bit further away. Then I’d say Sandpiper and Sea Trail would be the next tier. As a member, I’m partial to Sea Trail, but money issues about 10 years ago has dropped it out of the top tier. It’s under new ownership and the courses are in great shape, but the clubhouses need some updating. I think it provides the most value. I think it’s something like $29 for all you can play after 2 pm, and that might even include a hot dog, chips, and a beer.
Let me know when you’re going to be there and maybe we can get a round in together.

OK, I’m looking at the scorecard and I think they started on the 3rd hole, which makes everything make sense again. ? Am I crazy? Why is the 2nd hole a par 3? That’s #4.
(Possibility exists that I’m crazy)
There is a woman that lives on the other side of that No Trespassing sign (hole 7) that sits on her deck and will yell at anyone that tries to cross to get their ball.

Course was re-routed this past fall. The old hole 3 is now hole 1 (old holes 1 and 2 are now 17 and 18). They re-routed course 5 as well.
