Looks like you’re cutting a lot of distance off by hitting the island. Both the tee boxes and the green are left (in that picture) of the island, let alone the regular fairway.
@Soly said in another thread that the Pinehurst WWOG would probably drop right before TS5. So today could be a Twosday…
one can only hope…
For those speculations about #twosdays
That’s a great question, thank you for asking. While it might be easier to mince them with a razor, I feel if you want the true experience you gotta go whole hog.
i cant believe I’m out of likes already.
your brain didnt let you down…they did the first two seasons abroad, came to CA for 3 and then back abroad for 4…if they are in fact alternating, it didnt start right away
go ahead and break me out some needles though…
I spent a lot time playing all the various Pinehurst courses (my parents were members for multiple decades).
#3? Eh…I played it as a last resort.
[looks up from table, nostrils jammed with pine needles]
I…was wrong?
tbh this is how I feel right now with me coming in hot and still misremembering
WWOG today at the regular time would be before TS, wouldn’t it?
Fer sure, plus it’s PGA Show Week, gotta be able to name drop those partnerships
Sweeeet. Glad the guys visited the Carolinas.
I’m so ready to ride for True Blue>Caledonia
Interested to see the True Blue vs Caledonia take. True Blue frustrates the hell out of me, but I’ve had my two best rounds ever at Caledonia. I hear a lot of people are the reverse.
I like #3 because it’s a shorter course but it still has the challenging greens and surrounds like #2. After seeing Mid Pines, then Mid Pines is a much better execution of that shorter version of a Pinehurst #2. I still love #3.
