Drone shot makes that hole look way less intimidating. I was absolutely ejected on my trip.
What makes #13 at TR so hard is that you are constantly being challenged visually. There is less room off the tee than it appears (you have to layup or go for a tight window over the bunker and short of the trees), the 2nd shot requires a blind shot to a lot of fairway, but picking a line can be very hard unless you can see around the left corner. The third shot needs to be precise, you’ve only got 10-15 yards depth to be on the green.

Yeah, I agree with @Double_Bogey_Dave. If you are willing to play the hole in 3 smart shots (something I have only tried once there), it is not terribly difficult. If you take on the corner and want to get home in two, the landing area isn’t huge, and even if you place your drive well, the second shot is not easy. Pretty standard TR stuff there. Play smart to the fat parts of the course and you can make lots of pars and an occasional birdie. Get aggressive and you can have a wide range of results. Love that course. Love it.

I’m going to recklessly assume that the wild card episode is Augusta and you drove 4 hours the other way to get there

The wildcard episode is hopefully going to be a tour of the finest mini golf courses that Myrtle Beach has to offer. We’re in for some sick drone footage if that’s the case.
