Haven’t been to Broadway Cafe. Got it.
You should try it. Been there for like 40 years.

The MF Mackenzie course freaking RULES. Tons of variety, superior conditioning, excellent setting, cold beers, and partially-restricted access. Who could ask for anything more?
Says he won’t return until #18 is properly restored to the architect’s original vision.
A ditch, a lake, a barranca, whatever. You just have to STRIPE a six iron from the end of the bunker and two-putt, you will maybe be the only guy in your group who finishes the hole!
Next time we’ll play Leslie Park, too. You want to talk great munis…
Capped off with a Bulgogi Hoagie at Broadway Cafe, which is right down the street. A1 day in A2.
Fantastic golf course. The only downside is the city it’s in.
Tried it. It’s good. There are very few places in AA I haven’t eaten at in the last 15 years
Love Leslie Park and Radrick is gem. Seoul Street was my go to after a day at Leslie.
If I ever get back in the neighborhood, another chance to battle you in golf would be worth the extra drive.
Formerly worked at and still play my league at Leslie. Will always be a favorite course.
Lots of good spots nearby. Turned into a fan of Rapport which is right next to the Ace Hardware at the roundabout.
Good beer selection and pleased with their food. Only wish it was around when I lived in that part of town.
Hell yeah, I totally forgot about Rapport. When I was living on the northside, my roommate and I would get a beer there before going grocery shopping at Kroger across the street.
I think Fraser’s deserves to be on your list as well. Not necessarily the best food but definitely part of the fabric of Ann Arbor.
Golf course is great, although there is a hideous building across the street.
An icon for sure.
Neighborhood is a fairly nebulous term when it comes to where I’ll go for golf. Sounds like a proper match is in order next time.
Not a great place to have trouble with the snap hooks
Whoa!
You all are bad people.
Welcome to Rivalry Week…I am glad both Gameday and Fox show will be in EL this weekend! I cant wait till Saturday, should be a great game. Partial to my Spartans of course. If you would have told me before the season both teams would be undefeated I would have thought you were mental.
A lot of these places are classic AA and certainly going to produce a decent experience but honestly I only go to some of these places out of nostalgia for my college days.
More recent places I’d add are Aventura, Pacific Rim, HOMES brewery, Biercamp, and probably the best cocktail bar in SE Michigan - The Last Word.
Edit: I’m pretty sure Obama got Zingerman’s for the flight home after his commencement speech.
