I’m going with option B.
If you think about it, maybe 2 weeks of filming, 4 to 6 weeks to get the first editing done, and then 12 weeks of episodes. That’s about 5 months, so if they are going to have a Tourist Sauce season this year, it would be about the right time to start filming. So I’m guessing it was legit.

What is the next logical move for Tourist Sauce? Did they say something about Wisconsin a while back? Sand Valley, Lawsonia, Erin Hills, Whistling Straits. Would make sense with the Ryder Cup coming up too.

they were supposed to do Northern England last summer before COVID, so if they can get into England, probably not too hard to fire that trip back up?
Otherwise could be another domestic edition.
And I think Tron has explicitly said Japan is number 1 on the list, but not when COVID is going to be a constraint on doing the trip right.

This would be my guess as well. Tron was doing some advanced scouting earlier this month, and the BMW/Ryder connection aligns with Whistling.

I had assumed that the Midwest or Southwest would be this year’s Tourist Sauce. However, I think a Southwest TS would have to be done not in the summer. I hadn’t considered that it would be confined strictly to Wisconsin, though I assumed there would at least be a couple stops there.
I think there is a -100% chance TS ever explores anything in the American Southwest (i.e. Phoenix)

Yeah, I guess that makes sense. If they hate it, and they seem to, then it probably isn’t worth their time/effort to go out there and do that.
Plus I think you’ll get more variety doing the Wisconsin, Michigan, Nebraska thing or some combination of those. Especially if they can get on some of the privates to mix in

Yeah, I kinda thought a TS that started in Chicago, visited Wisconsin, and finished in Michigan (or the other way around) would make for good content.

I should clarify my option B comment. It is quite possible they’re working on another season of Tourist Sauce. However, this particular announcement is a parody of Sergio’s announced withdrawal from the Olympics.
My sources have told me they’re going to Michigan for the next tourist sauce
