Tourist Sauce Season 6 - Oregon: Finale @ Silvies (Craddock Routing)

DJ balling out + Guvs + Trails. This was the best episode yet, IMO. Such good vibes.

“if you don’t like ___, you’re an idiot. - TC” should be on a t-shirt. Definitely not the first time we’ve heard that.

I’ve noticed the people that rank Trails #1 also live near the ocean.

Yeah, I’m not sure this is the TC way @Tron

“if you don’t like ___, you’re an idiot. - TC”

I have a habit of rating sea side courses lower than others because I’ve been by some amazing coastlines for most of my life. Having said that, looking from afar Sheep Ranch looks like it could be my favourite, followed by Trails, but who knows until I make it there.

Truly a wonderful episode. Gracias.

I think Trails is the best course (I haven’t played the new Sheep Ranch). I’ve lived in Ohio my whole life.

Great video with some awesome pairings biggest observations for me;

I really enjoyed the conversation of how playing with someone that is playing well almost becomes infectious to the rest of the group, great quality of golf @djpie I echo his sentiments about how riding the high from his 6 birdies outweigh any other experience.

Also Squid’s is about to become one of the most requested caddies of all time.

The Pie man straight vibbbbinnnn.

I haven’t seen much documentation of Trails when looking at going to Bandon, so was really cool to follow along. Honestly, maybe it’s because I’m fortunate enough to play along the ocean a lot, but I think Trails would have me most excited to actually play and not just experience. If that makes sense.

Am I the only one fascinated with trying out speed golf?
Didn’t even know that was a thing.

I am never really sure how to act when someone is having the game of their life.
When I’m playing my best (6 handicap) I like to just keep it loose, keep talking and joking.
Brother in Law (12 Handicap) becomes way tooooo quiet for example; Then ultimately crashes and burns #YaHateToSeeIt

What do you do when you see someone popping off?
Agree its infectious and motivates me to push harder, but also fun to sit back and watch the roller coaster ride

I’ve participated in the Speedgolf event twice at Bandon and Chris Smith is a good golf friend of mine.
The biggest takeaway from jogging 18 holes of golf while on the clock is that playing fast doesn’t really affect your score negatively…fun stuff

I tend to use the “don’t talk to the pitcher while he’s throwing a no hitter” approach unless the gui going low brings it up him/herself.

I’m all in on that. usually the code I follow as well
But then post round, the same line comes up over and over again
‘‘Why did I stop talking and become TOO locked in’’
Clearly acknowledging their Icarito, too close to the sun moment

I think that’s wild but that’s the beauty of Bandon. Where did you score the best?

I really think being a good partner in any situation is to have a complimentary vibe.

Golf is more about the company you make instead of the scores you shoot.

I’m all in on you @PGA_ALLTHEWAY ; You seem like a great guy to play with
Its so true as you say, you don’t remember the scores;
You remember the walk and who you took it with :fist: :love_you_gesture:
Very easy to forget that sometimes

I’ve been to Bandon twice.

Once where a vendor took me. We played all the courses including the old Sheep Ranch. I don’t remember at all what I shot.

My first trip was to play in the US Mid Am. We played Bandon Dunes and Bandon Trails. The match play was on Bandon Dunes. I think I shot +3 or so on both courses. I made it to match play and lost my first match.

I thought Bandon Dunes was more tame and simple. Almost bland (edit: compared to everything else at Bandon not all other golf courses). 16 is an all-world hole.

Trails I thought had better holes. I found it a better experience. I felt more strategy was involved. It seemed more sophisticated.

All of that is very subjective of course.

the first time I went uncomfortably deep, I was playing with two of my best friends from HS. On 12, I told the one keeping score to not tell me where I was at, ended up just talking nonstop for the next few holes. Then went silent on 16-18.

Firm proponent of letting the guy who’s going low set the tone (whether it’s you or the person you’re with).
