Seems like we’re pretty much confirmed that Bandon will be in the next Tourist Sauce season. I’m no expert on Oregon golf - what else might be in the realm of possibilities? Sounds like they’re filming there in the next few weeks, so hopefully that means another season ready to air this fall?!?!
Theres a shit ton of courses at Bandon and around Bandon. My guess is they stay in that realm. Theres Bandon Dunes, Trails, Old Macdonald… etc
Agree with this, plenty of golf at Bandon…at most maybe a round after landing in Portland (Pumpkin Ridge?) or Eugene (not sure where?), but they might also take the Denver or SFO straight to Bend flight…
Laurelwood in Eugene is siiick. Nine holer with all around good vibes.
There’s a whole other thread already talking about this:

Bandon tourist sauce:
Sorry - took that as more of a general speculation thread and didn’t see anything yet specifically for this upcoming season.
Been waiting for this happen!!!
Where was this confirmed?
The FOMO is gonna be REAL
Well not completely confirmed, but on a recent pod DJ mentioned he needed to read Dream Golf to get ready for this upcoming Tourist Sauce season…so we’re connecting the dots a bit but I think it’s a safe bet.
Bandon will be exciting, but personally i’m also hoping to learn more about a random little known muni that they decide to highlight. The lesser known courses usually seem to make the best Tourist Sauce episodes.
They said it on the latest Nest podcast.
Bandon Crossings will almost certainly be featured if they go off property. Give that most/all seasons are 10+ episodes, they have to leave the resort because you only have 5 courses + preserve + punchbowl.
Maybe Shane Bacon will get his wish and they’ll do an entire episode on the labyrinth. I can just see an episode of nothing but @Randy reading passages from his favorite books to us for 20-30 minutes.
McMenamins Edgefield, not far from PDX airport
Good eye @Ecks. From the Edgefield website - I’m already excited for this episode:
Said to be loosely based on the mythic links described in Michael Murphy’s novel Golf in the Kingdom , our two par-3 Pub Courses (9 holes & 20 holes) meander throughout the Edgefield property, winding in and around thickets of blackberry bushes, all the while offering panoramic views of the Columbia River Gorge while you work on your short game. Holes vary from 43 to 84 yards in length; all guests are welcome, even those who’ve never swung a club! Both courses are equally challenging, mostly for beginners, but fun for all.
If you play the East Course, stop and pay homage to Jerry at the “Garcia Bronze,” a dramatic, tree-like sculpture by artist Joe Cotter that honors the late Grateful Dead guitarist. After your round, visit our clubhouse in the Distillery Bar to toast your victory or discuss your defeat.
Guessing it’ll be like the Doolin Pitch & Putt episode where they just got off the plane and played a quick round.
if they’re heading to bandon by the end of the week, hoping an episode is some sort of coverage/BTS about the US AM going on. feel like there could be an interesting episode on that provided they can navigate the media rights around it.
Ha, I’ve played that one! Super fun course.
Looks like they hit Edgefield and Eastmoreland in Portland/Troutdale. Have to imagine it turns to the Oregon Coast now for something like Manzanita, Gearhart (despite the crash course episode already) and winding their way down to Bandon.
I wonder if we’ll get to see Tron’s left handed game in full force on this season?
