Seriously though, if it’s Australia and they don’t make it out West, I’m gona be mildly offended and carry on about my day. Why wouldn’t you fly another 5 hours from Sydney with all their gear when you’ve already made it down here?

Mixture of Australia & New Zealand would be sick. 7 Mile Beach isn’t finished yet, Metro is under renovation AFAIK, and NSW is about to be the same, though maybe not for a wee while just to add some context to those things, but there are PLENTY of options for them to hit up.

For real though, when we did our Australia trip in 2017 (not golf) the best decision we made was to do one more leg out to Perth after a few days in NSW. We had an awesome time out there and it gave us an entirely different perspective on the country. 100% would recommend.

Neil would lose it before it could corrupt him.
Big would be unaffected by it.
DJ, like any good narc, would turn it in to the proper authorities.
Soly gives off Boromir vibes. Would want to have it to use it for good, but can never get his hands on it.
TC wouldn’t even fight it. Full on corrupt and would love every second of it.

Totally agree on these. I think Big would probably be Tom Bombadil, and probably be aloof to the whole situation.

Frodo: DJ (purest of heart)
Sam: Randy (would carry it only if he had to)
Pippin: KV (would do a delightful rendition of Edge of Night while B-Roll plays)
Merry: Neil (would get excited about going into battle. Albeit with somebody bringing him along)
Legolas: Ben (really just there to throw darts and never miss)
Strider: Cody (natural leader who willingly takes a backseat. Not yet Aragorn)
Boromir: Tron (can totally see him half beggin/half commanding Randy to give him the ring)
Gimli: Soly (Gimli didn’t like to run. Soly always has some phantom injury)
Gandalf: Casey (seems like a good hang, brains of the operation (re: merch))
