Wow! Incredible to see, and sad that it may impact the course in the near future. I did have that thought last year that I have no idea how “sustainable” Cape Wickham will be purely because of its remote location. They don’t have a ton of infrastructure as it is now and could definitely see there being issues in the future. Sad to think about because it’s a spectacular site

Mate who has just returned from this year’s Pro Am confirmed the fairway is very unstable and no play from the beach. Knows his course architecture and confirmed it’s a real issue. Not good unfortunately.

Found it interesting when they’d say 3 weeks of travel for this trip. Can of course go to ANZ for that long, but for Tourist Sauce to play ~10 courses with all their family constraints back home that felt needlessly long. Seems like that number might have been baking in this 5(?) day layover in Monterrey on the way back.

That’s because they didn’t really go to Australia. They went to Walt Disney’s Australia Adventure in Anaheim.
