Tourist Sauce, Ireland

Is that because it is a Hublot Or the price of the watch. What if it was a Rolex or Audemars

Great season.

Fantastic editing, bravo @djpie.

@TomCoyne’s summary of the Killhouse’ games at the end was an awesome touch.

NLU content continues to impress. Thanks for putting it out there for us!

Very late, but if there is a Tourist Sauce: Japan, it could include a trip to a Callaway Japan store for @Tron. That’d be a few episodes worth of content, right?

This is the only comment contest I participated in this season and I feel like I have a decent chance at this new set of irons. I’m on pins and needles waiting for the merch czar to declare a winner.

what was your post?

Are you trying to get me to doxx myself…

Weird comment. You think that’s good enough to win?

Been stewing on this a little throughout the season, but never bothered posting it to YouTube commments

With nearly every episode mentioning the surf in Ireland, figured I’d make some comparisons:

Tom: the OG big wave guys that have surfed it all (Shane Dorian, Greg Long, Pete Mel) - when they have something to say, you just listen

Soly: WSL, aka the C-Suite

DJ: The Surfer’s Journal, which we can all be thankful led to TGJ

TC: Jordy Smith, not afraid to offend and can score when he needs to

Neil: what Jamie O’Brien is to pipe, Neil is to Flushing Meadows pitch and putt

Randy: maybe the only guy in the world who can compare to Kai Lenny’s zen outlook on life

Chad: secretly runs Kook of the Day

Who’s Corky Carroll?

Being in Northern Italy, and obviously bias, I would love to see the Crew get over here via some kind of “Eurotrash Tour” … something that could coincide with the RC being in Rome in 2022.

I agree with others re: the density of quality courses … but this would be a perfect opportunity to show how diverse Europe is both geographically and culturally (food, booze etc.) plus just how possible/cheap a trip like this really can be … to a larger (US-based) audience.

Here, you could get to see the C-suite mix with the Hoi Polloi on an EasyJet / Ryanair flight (budget airline), the Strapped boys quaffing champers on the French Riviera and DJ Pie holding court in a German beer hall.

Flying into Amsterdam (for a smoke and a pancake), stops could be …

  • Utrecht (Soly heaven)
  • Brussels / Bruges (Royal Zoute, Belgian Beer, Waffles, Canals)
  • Paris (Golf National - another RC post-mortem, Wine, Oysters, Eiffel Tower, Versailles)
  • Barcelona (Catalunya, Tapas/Paella and the Nou Camp)
  • Cannes/Monte Carlo (Royal Mougins, The F1 circuit/harbour, Casino)
  • Milan/Como (Villa D’Este, Menaggio, Bellagio, Aperitivo, Galleria, La Scala, Monza)
  • Zermatt/Sierre (Crans Montana, The Matterhorn / Alps, Fondue, Swiss Chocolate)
  • Munich (Eichenried, Oktoberfest, German Beer Halls, Bratwurst, Bayern Munich)
  • Slovenia (Royal Bled, Ljubljana, river cafes/bars)
  • Italian home stretch … Venice/Verona/Garda Golf, Maranello/Bologna/Florence then Rome (pasta, pizza, wine, prosecco, Ferraris, the Colosseum, Forum, the Vatican).

All of the above are Easyjet or Ryanair destinations and tick all of the boxes re: infrastructure. There could also be the possibility of the odd car journey … dare I say in a couple of choice BMWs down an Alpine pass or around an Italian lake?

Collabs-a-plenty to keep the costs to a minimum too … ShipSticks (?), Easyjet, BMW, a trip to a Swiss Watch factory, Visit Italy, Eataly etc.

The Merch could be pretty spectacular as well, i.e. tour stop t-shirts and EuroTrash skinny-fit shorts / polos anybody (Soly)?

I would waive my fee here and be the cameraman for a week or two (all expenses paid, of course) …

I was listening to a random irish songs playlist on St. Patrick’s Day, and The Wild Rover came on. In my head, I couldn’t help but sing this:

Since we’re all quarantined and can’t pay golf…this will have to do.
My rough attempt of a “cover” of the Sligo singers

Cheers @Soly @djpie @Tron @MerchCzar @Randy

Well …

“Hello world” …

LOL.

Thanks for the message gui …

In short, I am not at home, but my family is … as crazy at that sounds. I was working in Israel when the virus took hold, decided to fly back into Switzerland (so not to potentially compromise my entry back into Israel) and got the family to take a train up to Brig - Google it - before the lock-down.

We knew the lock-down was coming, so - after the long w/e - we decided that the family would go back to N.Italy (Stresa) before we were locked out … the Mother-in-Law was already coming over / arriving imminently … and the house is honestly the best place to “bug-out” re: any quarantine period (up the side of a mountain, in a sparsely populated area, big garden, private forrest behind, well stocked, satellite internet etc.).

So, they are all fine … the kids are distance learning via Skype and the dog has never had it so good (!).

I went onto the UK/Scotland (my parental home) and monitored the situation re: Israel from there. Needless to say that this descended into a lock-out, so I took the opportunity to “bail” and take a job in Mexico (I am in Oil and Gas). Got to Mexico City and then to a hotel close to the coast - for one week’s Q - prior to going offshore.

Crazy days!

So, where are you … and how are you holding up? Stay safe out there!
