Tourist Sauce, Ireland

Another great season, gents. Well done!

Glad to know I can start calling @Randy Fil. “God’s Pro Tracer” also had me cackling.

Completely understand how it would be difficult. I’m not sitting here pushing for it, just using it as an example to explain where I’m coming from with previous comments.

This is how I pictured the C-Suite series. I think at this point, most of us on this message board understand that Tron and Soly aren’t douches, but seeing them play one on “TV” would be entertaining.

Compromise - Can we get a an arbitrary ranking of something stupid at the various top end private’s you’ve played? Shower water pressure/smoking rooms/valets (whatever random thing we can come up with)

This is not arbitrary… see: Friar’s Head

Honestly, as far as future seasons go I’m not sure the location has to be that exotic. Sure, they could go overseas again, but I’m just as likely to watch a season in Wisconsin, Illinois, or Texas as I am one in Japan, Eastern Europe, or South Africa. Hell even a TS season in Florida would be fun knowing we’d see some off the radar courses.

The guys know what they’re doing, so I’ll trust them to choose some incredible locations/courses and make it entertaining - while also slightly different each season. I like having one or two “guests” each season to mix it up, and changing up the games or gambling helps too.

Haha, well we can have one serious list, the rest must be arbitrary.

Haha, I really loved your idea! It was just a remark that people “rave” about the showers at Friar’s Head, for whatever reason, that’s something the course is known for (for whatever that’s worth).

there are a lot of jokes here…but I’m just going to say “probably smart”

Actually wait. Now that Deadspin is gone and we’re not getting a Hater’s Guide to the Williams-Sonoma Catalog (RIP :sob:), I would love an Annual Hater’s Guide to Golf Gear/Christmas Buyer’s Guide with the C-Suite Boys. You can lean into the high standards/ritzy and glitzy aspects of the C-Suite persona, but the douchiness would be 100% part of the schtick and play really well in a setting where you’re expected to be overly critical of everything.

I thought that’s what Strapped was for, and Sauce is for when we win lotto and/or save up for a big trip

I actually think the C-Suite trip series to counter the strapped series would be great, and I think Callaway wouldn’t have a problem funding it. Let’s be real, it’s people with C-suite incomes who are the ones buying themselves new Epic Flash drivers or irons every other season and dropping fifty bucks on a box of prov1’s every month. Those are Callaway’s core customers. Why not have the NLU guise drop content for that marketing demographic? Have @Tron and @Soly get into not only the glitzy course experiences but also talk more about the gear they’re bringing around. From the Callaway marketing perspective that would seem like a no-brainer, at least to me. And the rest of us would get even more free content!!!

As for the course access problem @Soly mentioned - yeah, no way they’re getting on at Baltusrol or some private club in Nantucket. But something like a C-suite summer vacay would work. Daniel Island comes to mind, that and a few other places around Charleston (yes, I understand a TS from that area is up next). Hawai’i could also fly for a c-suite trip. And I’d imagine Florida has some great spots. Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo, for example, and some of the other courses around Miami.

Cheers to another great season! I appreciated the spectrum of courses they played in Ireland. I am years away fro taking my talents overseas but I always take mental notes as I watch these episodes so that when the day arrives I am ready to roll.
Can’t wait to see how the Carolina season turns out, especially since I was just there this summer.
Possible future seasons: Pacific. North. West. Full stop.

Wait you mean this?

That Hublot watch has to be like one of those lottery sting operations. After you purchase it, you are arrested and thrown into a pool of snakes and sharks. No one should be allowed to spend money on that.

So what’s next now? Is there a strapped season or WWoG thats gonna be dropped soon? I am assuming that something is gonna happen between the next TS Season?

Good to see some fellow DCers on here!

I am desperately craving the WWoG from Pinehurst, so hopefully that.

@djpie needs to get off of the Refuge and get to work, like all of us do

Those private courses can easily be addressed using the Crash Course series. I really liked where that was going and look forward to more of those.

This was in another thread, or maybe this one, but I’m not finding exactly where…

I question that one billion number. Seems fishy. Did they play 18 holes at each? Doubtful.

Really, REALLY excited for that Jax Beach WWOG. The Furyk pod was great, and I bet that one will end up being a great watch. Like they all are.

Incredible work on the Ireland series. I’ll be rewatching it A LOT. Probably too much. I have a problem, probably.

But it’s cold outside. I’m not going fucking skiing. I’ll just watch Tourist Sauce and wait for the snow to melt.
