Soooo good.

ā€œWho wants some Arnie Palmie’s?ā€ gets me every time.

This would be a fair critique.

I need to rewatch it. It’s just not easily available though…without paying of course.

The confidence and quality of your putting in Ireland is light years from other seasons.

bump on all of these actors. you too @RobertHunter. fuck i hate being out of likes

Exactly. I’d need hours, if not days to find the Top 3 of ALL TIME.

And they sure aren’t confined to the last 5 years of movie making.

This is a stretch. Last 15 year is more accurate for my list. But still I think Will Ferrell and Steve Carell especially have careers that hold up to these lists. This is just my opinion.

And a valid opinion it is, if just short sighted.

Ah movie rankings, such an easy way to get a long discussion going! I like pretty much anything so it’s nearly impossible to rank them. Seeing the discussion here though is why rankings are such a conversation starter.

I was at the Knicks Celtics game during filming of the Other Guys. Celtic’s won in double overtime from memory. Kevin Garnett sealed the deal in the dying seconds. The seats I had did not stink.

These plus Wedding Crashers and Super Troopers are easily the top of the decade. I bet I’ve seen these combined over 100 times.

And low-key one of the most quotable.

ā€œI Love You, Manā€ should also at least be part of the discussion for best comedies of the 2000s.

Step Brothers is the funniest movie of all time. I had to read your list 4-5 times just to make sure you missed it. Unconscionable snub.

edit - this has been addressed earlier. good job everyone

Where does everyone stand on The Hangover? Did the abysmal cash grab sequels diminish the first one? I know at the time, I don’t ever recall laughing harder in a theater than I did during The Hangover.

Step Brothers is a great movie but Talladega Nights is number one Will Ferrell for me, followed closely by The Other Guys.

It really did not age well, did it.

The Other Guys is massively under rated. Even has a golf reference…
