Really excited for this season. Saw on Twitter this morning they are doing the “best comment” giveaway again for each episode.

Did NOT expect a dive into ocean to end the episode. Well done, fellas.

That was a delightful intro to the trip. They also expertly managed the T-word hanging over the whole thing. I need Neil to write “A Course Called Ireland” but with pitch n putts in the Tri-State area

Them talking to the community at and near the course is what sets them apart from the rest. I feel like anyone can get a nice bunch of drone shots and make some funny comments but they’re really showing their mettle by not being afraid to talk about things over and around the golf.

this was too good. the whole season is going to be ridiculous and I’ve already got Simon on speed dial to wait-list my way into Scotland…

@Randy and @djpie look to be on a weight loss kick since Ireland. And @djpie looks like he recently borrowed some of Trump’s bronzing agent while in Ireland.

Seriously, great video. Doolin’ looked awesome. Loved how close Doonbeg was to the ocean on a few of those holes. And, how can you wrong just letting Irish people talk about golf?

Also loved Randy to Neil regarding Guiness: “It’s light. You can drink a lot of them.” while completely deadpan.

So, just pulled this up for a little lunch time watch, and watching the intro realized that last night I just (unintentionally) copied @TomCoyne statement verbatim about links golf firing the imagination (that I now remember was in the trailer) when describing Trinity Forest on Instagram. Apologies Tom, but you are as usual right and eloquent, and we all have the same disease around here.

I mean technically he’s right, Guinness is less than 5% and feels really light when you’re drinking it. Excellent breakfast beer

Maybe because I don’t drink much beer, but it didn’t feel like to me.

Maybe when compared to other stouts/porters etc. but its still the equivalent of drinking a loaf of rye bread.

Pretty sure it also has less calories than a handful of light beers… Could be wrong though

Guinness is like 165 calories per pint, which puts it in light beer territory

Yup. Very low calories, pretty much the same as most light beers, ABV on par with light beers, and the nitrogen they use makes it feel different.

I literally just got an email from a local golf travel company that I have used in the past titled:

On the Tee at Doonbeg

Thanks @MerchCzar
