Tourist Sauce, Ireland

:speaking_head:“Can you take me higher”

just like you don’t know how to score on a 5500 yard muni in Cincinatti

That was such a smooth, subtle move. The “I am going to shoot myself” after that.

I had to laugh because I thought he was going to be singing only to see him blow his brains out… quite a 180

With that gesture, probably “Something in the Way” from Unplugged in NY.

2 things in life i don’t speak about are politics and religion it just causes trouble. On Doonbeg a good friend of mine played it a few months back and hated it then played Waterville the next day and still goes on about how it good it was.

Now Lahinch is a proper golf course played it a couple of years ago in horrendous weather just as the hurricane came in and close the whole country down, we didn’t get to play the Dell hole as we played to the other green kinda felt a bit cheated to be fair but would love another crack at it.

Yeah so NLU Scotland in April 2020 is already happening…

Anyone down for Refuge 10 rounds at Lahinch Ireland in August/September 2020?

If the Ireland tourism board isn’t paying them for this, they should be. I’ve never wanted to visit a place more.

This is in regards to Lahinch… not the other shenanigans going on in here

Also re Doonbeg which I saw in the “shoutouts” and mentioned on the pod.

Perhaps the best showers in the world.

Hospitality @Tron knows

Dude let it go. #snowflake

Was the hidden bunker within the 15th green still there? If it was, do you have any pics?

It’s hard to catch up on the thread after not being able to watch the video all day. Lahinch looks absolutely gorgeous. When Erin Hills opened up, they had a hole that was an homage to Lahinch. But you know, doesn’t really do it justice.

Absolutely gorgeous course. Huey was funny. Possibly my most favoritest episode of anything NLU has produced. It’s almost better than playing golf myself. Especially happy to see @Randy balling. Glad to hear that we can expect this to continue for the rest of the trip.

Can’t wait for the boys to create NLU-Ireland trip.

Man, this episode was so good. It’s taking a lot of willpower for me not to be looking at flights to Ireland right now. Lahinch looked mint, and I could spend the rest of my life in that bar.

Here is the best part. There are literally dozens of equivalent pubs in walking distance from that pub in Lahinch. Every little village has at least a few, and they never disappoint. Ireland is the best.

Yeah, my wife and I have thrown around the idea of moving abroad around a bit. Ireland is one of my top choices if we pull that trigger.

I just need to convince my law firm that we need a Dublin office (or even better, one in Donegal), and that since I have the most Irish name and am the only person that knows any Gaeilge, I should be the first associate there.

Yeah this episode had a profound impact on me. I immediately went to a local Irish pub and bought a Guinness after watching last night because I had to try the Guinness game. I didn’t win :frowning:

After the Scotland season I was trying to convince my gf to go to Scotland, and after last nights episode I said “we have to go here!”. Her response was “I’m going to write them and ask them to do tourist sauce: Fiji next so you’ll want to go on vacation there”.

Also she felt terrible when Randy got left hanging, as we all did. It’s a lonely feeling.
