There’s a Homewood Suites, looks like a lot to eat within walking distance/short car ride, right next to Blue Mound to try to sneak on (kidding, DJ) and 30 minutes to WashCo.

The area by the hotel is fine…very much like any area by a mall. And it’s safe. Lots of food options, like you said.

That’s what I was looking for. They typically don’t put Whole Foods in shitty neighborhoods, but thought I’d ask.
And if you do need to get out for an emergency 9 or 18, Currie Park is right around the block. Nothing special, but a fun little muni.

I live there. Try the Renaissance West Milwaukee Hotel on Mayfair. Their restaurant Eldr + Rime has a killer old fashioned. Take an Uber down North Ave to Camp Bar, Wauwatiki, Club Tap, or Walters on North.
