The Supper Club - NLU Wisconsin Roost - 2025 Event Schedule is LIVE Post 345

It’s just kind of a dumber version of hole 13(?) too. It’s a much better hole as a shorter 4.

Funny thing…in the Milwaukee Uncut podcast, the guy who is the pro at XGolf at AmFam said The Bull is his fav underrated course in Wisco. I think we are on the verge of nominating it the worst course in the state if >30% of our holes are at The Bull.

I have…many thoughts about The Bull as a local in the Sheboygan area who plays The Bull at least once a week since that is where the league I play in moved to. I’m at the point now where it’s difficult to separate out my thoughts on the course itself, the business decisions both current and prior ownership are making, and the fact that my league with my friends I play the most with probably would not exist if The Bull wasn’t able to accommodate us.

Nominee for Hole 12 - Glen Erin

Been waiting for this one for a while. Such a bad hole.

The major blemish on an otherwise enjoyable golf course

This looks so similar to Prairie Isle 11 which is on Second City’s shitlist as well.

I’ve been holding my powder waiting for this too!

Besides 11, what are the thoughts on this course overall? Closest track to my GF parents, figure I need to plot the playing options for visits this year…

Fun course aside from 11 and 12. 10 is kinda stinky but you forget about it after playing those two. 13 is a little roller coaster-y but fine as long as you don’t bleed it right back into the trees / 12.

Solid option. You’ll have to let me know, not too far from me. I play at their sister course, which is significantly less interesting.

Doesn’t Riverside have the par 3 blocked by a tree as it’s 12th hole?

You got all bad 12th holes over there?

12 at Riverside is sick though. I know two people that have plinko-ed a shot through the tree for a hole-in-one.

Ahhh okay, I’ll keep aiming at the tree then.

I’m not going to win, but I got a couple of par3’s to nominate for 12.

12 at Brighton Dale Links - White Birch course in the bustling city of Kansasville. 279 par3 from the tips, 229 from the one ups, up a 40 foot hill. Completely blind tee shot to a turtleback-adjacent green. You hit some lumber and hope to fuck it went kinda sorta the right distance because it’s just woods all around the green. And it borders the highway! OB left and thick woods to the right and all around, it is the epitome of “make the game no fun for bad players and excessively boring for good players”.

Nomination #2 is hole 12 from Bristol Oaks in Kenosha. It doesn’t show well on google maps either, but the circled trees are 100% in play off the tee. If you hit a cut, you genuinely need to consider laying up to this wonderful 180 yard par3.

Can confirm, these are awful holes. I give Brightondale the nod though, given it’s a better facility than that hole.

I love brightondale. 45 hole facility with a range and a reasonably sized practice green was a true “mom dropped me off at 7am and picked me up at 7pm” situation. I spent a lot of time there.

Less once Mark Olsen’s ego really got going. But what’re you going to do :man_shrugging:t3:

I do think white 12 is worse than Bristol oaks 12 though. Bristol oaks just demands that you hit a draw. Which is somewhat reasonable I guess. White 12 is just awful in every way. It’s like it was designed to be a 160 yard hole, but they had an extra 100 yards of land so they figured why not
