Curveball here but I’ll nominate Branch River #2. Definition of old country club style course where overgrown trees ruin the hole. Not bad design but in it’s current iteration with overgrown trees clogging an already tight fairway it’s no bueno
Wat
It stinks and I’ll die on that hill. Can’t have a massive, awesome hazard and reward people for playing nowhere near it. Maybe I just don’t get the hole
I don’t like the tree short left, would prefer a bunker there, otherwise I think it’s fine
I’m just curious what you mean? It’s a risk reward hole at its core. Bail out right, have a shot all the way over the hazard. Push it up left and be left with a little pitch down the hill
You can’t pitch it. There’s a whole ass tree right there. You end up having to hit a weird chippy 8i or lay back farther to have the room to go up and over.
It’d be a lot better without that tree. The tee shot would matter

Have you ever tried to defend par on a short par 5?
How about the funnel approach?
A pin on the front left of that green would be… interesting
4 to 4 and you picked it because you voted for it?
Even the refuge decided the oaks was worse with the extra percentage point.
A vote came in late after I made my comment but before I closed the poll, gonna declare it a tie I guess?
Sorry - that was my late vote. My despise for the Oaks runs deep - and I was late submitting.
If 18 isn’t Irish, I’m not certifying these results. Just warning everyone.
I’ve only played there once, early season with no foliage and it’s borderline impossible (and definitely unfair).
You being so handsome makes the vote very valid. Also, sounds like we need to grab lunch soon, much to discuss for 25 on working (and golfing) together more after a quick chat a couple of weeks ago about focus partners.
The 18th at Irish is fine. In fact I’d argue it’s good.
You can argue it’s good, but it isn’t.
Will you vote for #10 at Meadow Valley despite almost making a 2?
