You LCs and your versions of tough holes😂 14 was easy peasy; 3W over the tree to the left, little 30yd chip with check on second bounce to 3ft, don’t throw up on yourself during the putt because you hung out in the Clarion parking lot inventing new words til 1am night before.

Absolute gem of a host. Great relationships with the course. The BIG gui bucked his head. The lunch Sammies were on point. And no stone unturned.
Aiken 100p lives up to the hype. I would absolutely play there every week. Easy holes, hard holes. PLENTY OF EAGLES out there.
@elcid83 and @ColoniusFunk was a comfy comfy pairing to start the day. All the zingers from the local and all the facial flow from the refuge stalwart.
If you didn’t know @Fluff is really good at golf and golfs the shit out of his ball. Low key cam champ vibes with his iron play. You can feel it in your feet. Glad we got to play again. Sorry to disappoint. Again.

I don’t know if everyone heard but in case you missed it I did in fact, unequivocally and without debate or any controversy whatsoever win the sunset derby. So there’s that.

6 is my favorite hole on the course but got push back from “the real golfers” because the trees on the approach.

14 was not easy for me. 245 yard hole ate my lunch. Double in the morning, bogey in the afternoon. Don’t go long. I also hit the first shank in ages on that hole. I’m not superstitious about shanks- that was just crazy.
I got a really good lesson on iron play today. Really good lesson. I know what I’m doing wrong but it’s going to take some hard work to erase ingrained errors from when my left knee was so hurt before the replacement. All my hip action at impact is completely wrong.

Full transparency:
I have come full circle (not listing specific degree turn so as it to be corrected by the wise asses) on @leric90 in the last year.
I didn’t know him. Assumed I did.
And I can’t wait to play more golf with him.
That’s why we do events like this. We have played 3-4 times together now, and every time I feel like a jackass for assuming my limited online perspective on someone as complex and genuinely nice as him and can’t wait to play with him again.
Dudes, go to more refuge events. The people are amazing.

Speaking of holes, I’d be fine if they cut #3 off the course and bulldozed it into the train tracks. They could turn one of the 200 yard par 3’s into two holes to make up for it.
Pretty much every other hole was awesome.
