My wife had been out of town all week and there’s a Culvers a mile away. I have thought it about so many times but have resisted the temptation. Fajitas and margaritas have been instrumental in that effort.

Desert cheese curds doesn’t feel right to me, but give me that street corn flavor.
Lakefront Brewery will celebrate National Cheese Curd Day from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday with its sixth annual cheese curd event, featuring two special flavors, gluten-free options, poutine and a cheese curd pull competition.
The special flavors are:
- Cookies N’ Cream: Cheese curds will be tossed in chocolate cookie breading, deep-fried and drizzled with vanilla icing and powdered sugar.
- Street Corn: Cheese curds will get a beer and cornmeal batter, then will get tossed in panko, hot cheese curl and flour breading. They’ll be served with chile lime sauce, parmesan cheese and cilantro."

I had shake shack about a month ago. It’s solid.
My wife got a Chocolate shake and it tasted terrible (my tastebuds are strange I know)
If Culver’s offered Bacon Cheese fries or had avocado on a burger would you change your mind?

Listen, maybe, I’m here for that conversation. BUUUUUUUT it is also like 2x the price, and with that in mind the value just isn’t there for the 10-15% better food. IMO
a burger + fries + small drink at shake shack by me is $14.07
the same at culver’s is $9.42
Also the best choice is to do the kids butterburger with the works and a kids custard for $6.56

Nah, I don’t like the fries at either place, not a fan of crinkle cut. And avocado does nothing for me.
The burger is better at ShakeShack and their chicken bites are delicious. As for the shake, gotta go black and white. And bring your wallet, because the shack ain’t cheap
