I don’t think so…going to be so sick
If you think I’m not going to have an air mattress and/or cot with a plush pad, then you have the wrong type of camping in mind. This is car camping/glamping adjacent.
I opened this, went to be first on Wait, answered a work message and then down like 16 spots. Field is getting deep.
Can I join you? I’ll bring beer.
Also interested in this.
I can provide a homemade variation of that chipping/corn hole game. And coooolllllll beer.
If I can join I’ll help carry the canoe full of beer they have on the Sandbox
@JBors does Illinois include those of us who are south of I-80?
I honestly assumed @TCRBrad was just going to sit around in the canoe with the beer, but I like your idea better.
Fer shure. I’ll be punching right through the hit of Wisconsin, stateline, Johnson Creek, Beaver Dam to Green Lake if I can pick anyone up.
Well we already had the sign up for match play using the Chicago thread as it is used as the Illinois thread anyways.
So I guess Indiana isn’t in the Midwest anymore? I’m coming anyways, whether I get in or not.
This looks like so much fun. Thanks for organizing this
I’m pretty fascinated that some 50% of Minnesotans self-identify as “not Midwestern”. What else would you be? Northern? South Canadian?
I’m assuming this was some weird ass survey of people across the country. (It was done via SurveyMonkey, so perhaps some people just got tired of selecting states.)
Or… something something education system. (said in jest by a Wisconsin public school product who was the family map reader from age 4)
Wait, what are Michigan and Ohio?
I think this all really depends on what other regions are you putting on the map. Great Lakes? Great Plains? You give those options and you basically don’t have “Midwest”.
Uh yea I’m in. Seems like the appropriate send off before getting married 2 weeks later
All are agreeing on what isn’t here: Pennsylvania.
