An unrelated tidbit from the pod that I enjoyed but at the same time made me nauseous was the stuff about Nick Faldo cheating on his wife with an Arizona State student… Just can’t imagine the lady’s being into those side burns lol

Vijay Singh being notably involved in the 1993 PGA Championship got my attention.

I may even remember a bit of that from the deep dive on his career that TSS guys did but it is still just doesn’t totally compute to hear his name come up in this era.

Yeah, in 1993, he wasn’t that far removed from getting kicked off the Asian Tour for cheating in Fiji.

I think he was also a winner on Tour and rookie of the year. So it’s not like he was a Euro tour player coming out of nowhere. It’s just that in my mind he belongs in the early Tiger era and I forget that because of his age he’s like Ernie and Phil and he did play a lot before Tiger was on the scene so, even though he didn’t win, his name was on the board sometimes.
