Happy to report that the greens at NCC are approaching proper tournament speed! Yesterday morning after they rolled them they were fast uphill!
Got 2 more spots to stay in a cabin about 30 mins north of northland. First is a queen size bed for 120 total for 3 nights. The other one is a cot with a sleeping bag. 55 bucks total for this strapped style setup.

This event is still quite a mystery. Will Tony Clifton be at our house? What’s the temperature of Lake Superior right now? Why has Peter Millar started carrying so much green? How does Northland set up for a left handed (newly minted) hooker of the ball? This is supposed to be a helluva good food and bev town: do we need to make dinner reservations before we go? We get done at 2 on Saturday, are we just drinking to the death that night, or what?

Got some highway miles on the Jeep the last couple nights, it’s a bug killing monster with an almost vertical windshield. Gonna be a great 15-hour ride.
As a late edition, I’m excited to partake and get some more time up around Lake Superior. I have not qualified for the NIT on merit (though I think it’s bullshit that running away with the low gross at the Colonial Hickory tournament doesn’t constitute qualification), so I’ll be coming for blood next week.
I’d also like to challenge you @BaxterMSP to a good old fashion belt battle to avenge the Carter family name. Stakes: loser buys winner belt of choice and loser must change Refuge subtitle to highlight they “lost the 2021 belt battle” for the rest of 2021.
