The direction of this conversation brings to mind a condition we contracted while playing in Ireland. We dubbed it The Guinness McStickies; 36 holes per day coupled with a diet that consisted primarily of beer and not nearly enough roughage.
I’ve found that applying a shit ton of vaseline to the area can work wonders.

I use that for the undercarriage, obviously. But with mud butt you need a layer of protection that a simple powder cannot provide.

We Have to factor in this is a North Carolina course and there may be a lack of deciduous trees. May have to do the wiping in the woods with pine cones.

The course punched their greens the first week of the month, so I swung by yesterday afternoon to check on the healing process and to make sure the conditions were suitable for my visitor from the north…if the practice green is any indication, we should be ok
Also this is #10 I think, right off the road in to the clubhouse
