If we get almost 5 inches of snow in the next two days that’ll be just under our season total to date. I don’t buy it!

Bring a face covering. Ski mask, sun buff/neck gaiter, something. Wind chills will be in the range where frostbite can occur quickly, and with the physical activity, you may not realize how cold your skin is getting until it’s too late

I’m not going to lie, if it’s in the 20s I may not be there. I simply don’t have the clothes that would allow me to survive with a wind chill into the teens.

Since we will be walking, you don’t have to layer up quite as much. For me, I have to dress to be warm but not so warm that I start sweating under the layers. This sounds dumb, but if you have some warm upper body clothes, you could wear a trash bag in between two of the layers and it will make a huge difference for you if you don’t already have water/wind proof clothes

Maybe a potential option: Flex this thing to Sunday? Right now saying 8 degrees warmer on the high and 12 degrees warmer on the low.

That’s not a terrible idea to consider. We will keep an eye on it all. The way things are trending in the right direction gives me a ton of hope.

Its the hope that kills you.

This is @spicychimis and I on December 24, 2022, skipping early Christmas Eve celebrations to watch the 6-8 Browns fall to the 5-9 Saints. 5° at kickoff with 22 mph sustained winds and 37 mph gusts. That’s a -16° feels like.

All of that to say, we’ll be there. And if anyone wants to borrow some cold gear, I got you.

Walked a mile with my wife™ in 6 inches of snow today. Bundled up and was feeling warm by the end of it. I’ll for sure be wearing my hiking boots with a couple layers of socks instead of golf shoes but,

Fuck it, let’s roll!

Also, @paroutfromhere, will you guys be able to accept card for those Girl Scout cookies?

Yeah man! It’s also above freezing down here and there is allegedly only two inches of snow now. At this point, grass is still breaking the surface of everything that fell already, we will be good to go.

As far as the cookies go, she won’t have any inventory on hand so they will be shipped to where ever you need them shipped. So I’m leaving it up to her whether she wants to pursue it or not. She’s a social butterfly with the attention span of, well, me, so I doubt she will want to do it. Or she’ll go full adhd hyper focus and not let you leave until you buy some haha. Should be fun to watch either way!

2 and 3 still showing minimal snow melt. Hoping we are on the low end of snow estimates, but it is around 40 today so some of its melting off and some of the snow fall won’t really stick.

Drove down to BG for a hockey game today and there’s no fucking snow down there. Like 15 min south of Toledo, and no snow.

Lots of par 3.5s, love to see it. I have to admit I didn’t know this wasn’t an 18 hole event.

It can be!

But that routing keeps you closer to the parking lot if people feel the need to bail, I assume.

This is TBD. I made the card also have a second loop. I figure play 9, take the temp (literally) of the group and go from there.

I cooked up a 9 hole routing to keep us closer together for the social aspect, and to the parking lot should people want to be done.
